Maintenance of Honiton Millennium Green

We hold various events such as Local History Exhibitions, May Day Celebrations, Open Gardens and a Neat Street Award. We work with residents of all ages and abilities to record the history of Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford, and compile history booklets, add blue plaques and heritage boards in the Eatons. We work to enhance our local facilities, including providing benches and planting bulbs.

Providing an affordable space for Children/Adult Dance Classes, Latin Line dance, Tai Chi, Yoga, Over 60's (friendship club), Comer Ladies as regular groups.Used also by the local Community of St John's for Parties, Meetings, Charity events etc. The Hall is managed by volunteers/trustees of Comer Gardens Hall Association

Protected Open Space

Christmas Services, Mother's Day Service & Father's Day Service cancelled in 2020 & 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

To advance the education of the public in awareness of the whole of the genus Narcissus, including holding shows at which growers may compete for the trophies and awards of the Society, encouraging the raising and introduction of new cultivars and educational plantings in public gardens.

Promote the conservation, protection and maintenance of heritage buildings and their contents, gardens and historic landscapes in the Czech Republic.

We maintain the reserve as an SSSI following government guidance. Work to explain the geologically significant rock exposures and emphasise their significance to the community and schools. Ensure access for the benefit of geological research and field investigations. Promote the reserve as a public amenity and encourage conservation work, particularly engaging young people to collaborate.

Work to fulfil a Site Management Plan through work-party meetings to include the clearance of scrub, some trees & other invasive plants plus the grazing & cutting of grass to maintain the semi-natural grassland.Organise educational activities e.g. walks, talks, signs, displays, leaflets & a website to inform the public & to increase informed enjoyment of Painswick Beacon.

A concert and training band comprising approx. 22 players, aged 12 - 80. We play for about 5 functions each year, some paid and some for charities. We play evening / supper concerts; garden parties and summer fetes; church events and for our nominated charity, St Michael's Hospice;

Providing and managing an area of woodland at Maes y Pant , Pant Lane, Gresford, Wrexham for public benefit.

The Trust only supports projects in Africa which are personally known to the trustees. At present the countries include:- DR Congo, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. It supports the following types of organisations/work:-medical work, agricultural demonstration gardens, self help groups, community based organisations, schools and college fees for students and medical staff

We play at public and private events throughout the year, locally and further afield. These include concerts; outdoor performances in summer, village & school fairs, fetes & garden parties; weddings; church & other Christmas events; charitable fundraising; and official occasions. We recruit and train young and adult players.

We provide housing accommodation for the poor/elderly/needy of our parish at an affordable rent in one bedroomed bungalows each having its own facilities and garden space.

Bettws in Bloom aims to promote the educational, leisure and environmental opportunities for our local community. We provide rooms and office space for the use of individuals, local groups and organisations for events, meetings and community activities. We also encourage volunteers to tend, maintain and use our gardens and encourage environmental and horticultural activities within our community.

Village Hall is available, as part of its constitution, as a sport centre for the children of the village with table tennis and snooker at any time it is not hired out or used for general village functions. The largest occasion in the year is the Open Garden and Arts Exhibition where the hall is used for all day catering by a rota of members of the village. Social functions such as quiz nights,
