Working with and in consultation with the owners Hyndburn BC, the Friends promote the protection of the physical and natural environment of Jackhouse, including carrying out volunteer sessions and educational walks.

Local fund raising such as Open Gardens, flower festivals, lunches etc to raise money to assist with the repair/maintenance of St Andrews Church, Wickham Skeith, Suffolk.

To promote for the public benefit the collection and preservation of documents relating to the history, architecture and development of the Hampstead Garden Suburb.

The charity, previously the Mary Dains Mission and Holiday Fund Charity, presently owns a house, a chapel (Mission Hall) and a very large garden in Trimley St Mary. It is the intention of the trustees to sell the house and reinvest the proceeds in the refurbishment of the chapel so that it can also be used for wider community purposes.

Monthly meetings with a wide selection of speakers; 2 x book groups, quilting group, garden visits, fund-raising lunches, stall at village fete, theatre trips, WI outings, walks, fundraising for ACWW and local projects.

A green open space within the village to be used by all for recreation and enjoyment

The Fraddon Millennium Green Trust oversees the running of the Fraddon Millennium Green, an open space used by the local community. The area includes play equipment.

The establishment and provision of a green open space for informal recreation of the villages of Kingston Bagpuize and Southmoor. The maintenance and protection of a mixed wooded, grassland, pond environment. The fostering of community through social and educational events on the Green.

We manage the Clara Vale Local Nature Reserve to protect the wildlife and habitats and enhance biodiversity. The Reserve is open to the general public throughout the year and is used by local schools. There are several ponds and two bird hides. The Group has also established a Community Orchard. We have a Nature Club for children and their parents/carers. We publish a regular newsletter
