Retain, sustain and maintain the open green meadow known as Glegg Field, as originally outlined in the Original Trust Document of the 1st April 1938.To support local charities and voluntary institutions in the village of Newhey

The object of the Charity shall be the provision and maintenance of a recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Aldington without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Charity manages the Haddenham Recreation Ground and Pavilion on behalf of the Parish Council. It is available for football, cricket, boxing, keep fit and netball for children and adults. Also available to the school free of charge.The Recreation Centre is available for use by village organisations and individuals.. We have refurbished the children's playpark, adult gym, skatepark and MUGA.

Provides buildings/facilities/open space. We have 1 football pitch, 1 cricket wicket, 2 squash courts and 3 tennis courts.

To promote the use of recreational facilities on the village playing field, encouraging activities for all ages and for all of the community

Development and maintenance of Layham Playing Field

Supporting sports groups in the community, ie Bowls Club, Cricket Club, Football Club & providing management team for recreation ground & pavillion
