The Charity is to provide and maintain the Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish and its environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions etc, to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational and leisure-time activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.

Smallwood Village Hall is a rural Village community hall in the South Cheshire countryside.It hosts many community activities and charity luncheons to serve the local and neighbouring community

Marlesford Community Council exists to promote activities within the parish which support all sections of our community. The main facility we support is the village hall.

Making charitable grants to the following organisations:(a) Chelveston-cum-Caldecott Parish Council.(b) The Parochial Church Council of St John the Baptist Church Chelveston-cum-Caldecott.(c) Chelveston-cum-Caldecott Women?s Institute.(d) The Educational Foundation of Abigail Bailey and Ann Levett for the purposes of Chelveston Village Hall.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS TO PROVIDE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH A MEETING PLACE AND ACTIVITY CENTRE FOR USE AT VERY REASONABLE RATES.THE KING GEORGE V PLAYING FIELD IS FOR USE BY ALL LOCAL RESIDENTS FOR SPORT, PLAY AREA AND PROVIDING ACCESS TO A FREE OPEN SPACE FOR ALL SORTS OF OTHER ACTIVITIES.

Social and educational activities of benefit to people in local area

Community hall run by a SMALL group of volunteers. The hall is used by a variety of groups including =Drama & Dancing. Local council activities.Art & Crafts.Over 60s group. Pre School group.The hall is also hired out to various organisation which promote learning and development.

Organise fundraising events with all money raised being used to finance the running and maintenance of Osgodby Village Institute. Organise social events for the inclusion of all age groups for the benefit of residents in Barlby & Osgodby Parish, and surrounding communities. This is acheived through the maintenance and upkeep a local facility for the use by local communities.
