Providing the community with leisure facilities to meet local needs:As a membership organisation with elected directors, MCG represents its members' views. On important issues, and to report back to members and seek their views, MCG holds open meetings to which non-members are welcome. Since June 2020, MCG operates village hall and playing fields on behalf of the local community.

St Swithun's P C C has the responsibility of cooperating with our Vicar in promoting within the parish the whole mission of the Church; pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The P C C is also responsible for the maintenance of the church building, the church hall, and the surrounding grounds, and for ensuring that the parish's finances and accounting records are in good order.

In addition to our Church services, we hold regular events in our Community Hall to which all are welcome. These include drop-in coffee, tea and chat mornings, monthly soup & roll lunch, a Mothers Union led friendship group, a luncheon club for the less able in the parish, a bereavement support group and a Baby & me support group. Retain the Motcombe Memorial Hall as a permanent memorial to the late Richard de Aquila, Baron Stalbridge, and keep the Hall in good repair and condition.2. KCM Falmouth holds monthly Family services in the church which are great fun. The Choir holds regular concerts and we welcome visitors all year round from around the world. KCM has a very popular coffee shop which brings the community together. The Church Hall is now more accessible to everyone and is used for a great many groups etc.

The Community Centre provides a wide range of recreational and social facilities, including a large hall and stage. This is used by the community and community groups for weddings,race-nights,dances,quizzes,public meetings etc. In addition there are a number of community groups - currently totalling some 20 organisations that use the facilities. There is also a squash court,sauna,fitness suite.

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts. Chingford Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society is an amateur dramatic group based in Mornington Hall, Chingford, E4 where we rehearse and perform. Mornington Hall is a community hall run by the group and used by other local groups for both adults and children.
