To provide preschool education to children, aged 2-4 years old, in Galmington, Comeytrowe and surrounding local Taunton areas. In line with the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted inspection framework, we provide educational play, development and care. TO PROVIDE AND MANAGE A NEW VILLAGE HALL AND PLAYING FIELDS IN WEMBDON VILLAGE, SOMERSET

The objects of the CIO are to establish and run a community hall and recreation facilities to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Barnham and Eastergate. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities e and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

Relief of rural isolation by providing a) community transport; b) befriending scheme c) information and drop-in centre & charity shop d) day clubs; e) ICT training; f) various activity clubs (reading, writing poetry, craft etc) g) afternoon teas, outings & shopping trips as part of Ring and Ride scheme; & h) a community hall in Kirkburton for social, educational activities and community hire.

Christ Church's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, the Revd Mathew Smith, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church Hall at Christ Church and the School House Trust.

Milton Village Community Association provides social and recreational facilities for local residents and friends at its premises known as Milton Village Hall. For example, activities such as keep fit classes, toddler groups, oap senior clubs etc. We also offer the hall as a private hire venue for people to hold children's parties. We also arrange social functions including outings and holidays.

The Charity manages and develops Longhirst Village Hall

Supports local missions e.g. Lincoln Street Pastors, Joy Foundation, Christians Against Poverty; overseas missions e.g. the provision of child care in Olinda Brazil & Komamboga Uganda, M.E.A. in Kenya ; governs/hosts Community Hall activities e.g Swallows Nest Preschool and Stepping Stones charity shop. Provides befriending groups and some care and pastoral support within the community.

Community centre for providing social welfare, day care for the elderly and disabled and a meeting place serving meals etc for the inhabitants of Chinnor and surrounding parishes. Also provides meeting rooms for local businesses and social groups.

The Charity's activities revolve around freehold properties in Kingsbridge. The Town Hall and Market Hall are hired out to various local charities, churches, clubs and societies. The Charity also provides social rented housing to residents of Kingsbridge who would otherwise be unable to find affordable housing in the town. Willowfield Pre-school operates from a Local Community Hall in Laindon, Basildon, Essex and provides education and development for children under school age 2-5 years. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment to allow each child to develop at their own pace. It also has responsibility for managing the Parish Hall in Green Street, Sunbury which it achieves through the Parish Hall Management Committee.

To manage and control the Town Hall at Grassington, to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation of the inhabitants of Grassington and its immediate neighbourhood with a view to improving their conditions of life.

St Edmund?s Hall in Southwold was originally built as a church hall - it plays host to a large number of community and church events.The building is in a poor state of disrepair. Sole Bay Arts has been established to a) operate the Hall as an arts and community centre and raise the necessary funds to refurbish the building and facilities to the benefit of all.

The PCC continued to work in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church: pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church, Church hall and Church grounds of Jesmond Parish Church together with the vicarage and curate's house.
