Dunkirk Village Hall's Charitable Trust was established in 1929 to manage the hall for the benefit of the community. The aims of the charity are to:1. Stengthen the local community.2. Provide activities identified by the community.3. Improve the quality of life of local people.4. Sound financial managment to ensure benefits to the community are safe guarded.

As a village hall we are a venue for a wide range of social activities for the local community, and we also hire out the hall for various functions to cover the cost of maintaining the hall in good condition..

The provision of sports facilities (currently football pitch, bowling green, croquet area, astroturf and pavillion) for the inhabitants of Goostrey and the contigual parishes with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The provision and maintenance of the village hall for the use of residents of Keston and its neighbourhood including use for meetings, lectures and classes and forms of recreation and leisure/social time occupation.

Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations and COVID 19 regulations are followed. Providing a valuable resource to the community of CO15 in accordance with our constitution.

Our Village Hall provides space for a wide range of activities for the people of Penruddock and district. The hall is 110 years old next year. It occupies a central position in the village. We have gained four grants and two legacies this year to continue the plan of improvements. This will form the remit of the Management Trustees looking ahead into 2015. THE VILLAGE HALL IS THE ONLY FACILITY IN THE VILLAGE & ALL VILLAGE SOCIETIES & ACTIVITIES ARE HELD IN THE HALL.

The village hall is for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Messingham without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condtions of life for the said inhabitants.

The management of Compton Martin Village Hall which offers a community base for well established and innovative user groups both within the community and the surrounding area. Our hall hire fees to these groups provides the primary source of income.The trustees hold fund raising events to augment this letting income. This supports the long term aim of maintaining the fabric of the hall.

The Burgh Village Hall is used by the community for village activities ie indoor bowling, luncheon club, sports activities etc and the recreation centre is used for local bookings ie bingo, meetings etc

The principal activity of the trust is the provision and maintenance of Blakeney Village Hall. This is achieved by the hiring out of the hall and the running of a bar as an adjacent to certain hirings.
