Part of the Ground Floor was leased to the local authority providing the village with a library. The library is closed at the moment. The remaining Ground Floor area is leased to a Children's Nursery . The First Floor comprises a large hall, smaller meeting room and kitchen. These rooms are hired by the local community for various meetings, groups, classes, family parties and community events.

The Association (HCA) maintains, improves, uses and runs Hepworth Village Hall, a former day-school owned by the Anglican church. HCA lets space, at low rates, to local groups (sports, craft, playgroup, charities, drama etc) and to individuals for social events and parties. HCA runs regular community events, eg Film Night, Folk Night, food-evenings, concerts, plays, quiz-nights etc.

Provides an outside recreation area for sport activities; football, cricket, tennisplus children's play.The Village Hall provides an important venue for local groups and clubs to meet including indoor sporting activities; aerobics, badminton, bowls, baby and toddler groups and a venue for social events; disco, parties, receptions. All age groups are catered for.

Provides buildings/facilities/open space

The aim of the Hall is to provide a place for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of leisure and recreation activities in order to improve the life of the inhabitants of Pirton and its neighbourhood. All of this is to be provided regardless of political, religious or other opinions.

The charity objectives are to benefit the inhabitant's of Whitechapel and neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious, or other opinion's, and in particular for use for meetings lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.

The Charity will be expanding the services already provided to the Community from its base in Warcop Parish Hall.

As a village hall we are a venue for a wide range of social activities for the local community, and we also hire out the hall for various functions to cover the cost of maintaining the hall in good condition..

The charity provides premises for the benefit of the people in the parish of West Monkton for educational and recreational purposes. Users include, Badminton clubs, Dance clubs, Brownies, National Childbirth Trust, Camera Club, Monkton Players Drama Club, etc as well as specific events and exhibitions. Also meeting place for South West of England Samaritans Group.

VILLAGE HALL

The Charity operates the Village Hall for the benefit of the local community

SMVCA currently administer the village hall facility, providing local groups, organisations and individuals with a facility to hold their meetings, classes or events. We also organise social events for the benefit of all parishioners and the surrounding area.

The charity operates in the Nottinghamshire area to the general public supplying facilities and open space etc.

Churt Village Hall is run and maintained to provide a focus for the local community to meet its social and recreational needs. A variety of activities are undertaken principally by and for the benefit of members of the village. However, the Hall is open to and embraces wider usage from the surrounding populace and elsewhere.

Maintaining and running of Village Hall for hiring out to public and use by regular village groups. To promote new activities where possible.

The letting of a Village hall to organisations/individuals based in Mountnessing & surrounding area for the purpose of Club meetings, village activities, classes, and private parties.

Running a Community Centre / Village Hall

We are a local Community Hall Association "Thames Ward Community Association Ltd", and our hall is used by the local community and the wider community area for social activities and social events all year round.

Manages and maintains Pentyrch Village Hall as a community centre.

Community Hall providing facilities for all members of the community

Maintaining a building in order to provide modern and safe facilities for organisations, groups and private individuals. Users range from individuals with a particular interest/hobby to the area WI, DMBC, Cycling Club Meets. Hatfield Woodhouse Village Hall offers social, educational and entertainment activities for the general public resident in and around the area of Hatfield Woodhouse.
