The object of the charity is to maintain the village hall for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Linton and the surrounding area. The management committee aims to provide first class facilities at an affordable cost to voluntary organisations serving the community.

The Trustees manage the Tempsford Stuart Memorial Village Hall. The Hall is used by the community for different social events. More widely, people come from areas surrounding the Hall for events such as weddings, christening parties, birthday parties, craft events, business meetings and other activities. Another charity, the Tempsford Museum & Archives leases two rooms in the Hall
