Running of Llanarth Village Hall

Thruxton Memorial Hall is the village hall and provides a building for the use of the local community. The Hall hosts various local events including the annual Remembrance Day lunch, Produce Show, a community cafe and club for residents and provides the venue for most village clubs and societies. It is used by individual villagers for family gatherings.

Bradley Playgroup provides pre-school sessions for children aged 2 years 3 months up to school age. The group operates from Bradley Village Hall, Glanllyn Road, Bradley, Wrexham LL11 4BB. The playgroup provides the first step on a child's learning ladder where they can socialise and learn through play.

The Village Hall provides the facilities for some 30 local organisations to meet and carry out their activities and is hired out for private functions, such as wedding receptions, lunches, dinners, dances etc sponsored by local residents.

PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR USE BY INHABITANTS OF THE AREA FOR MEETINGS LECTURES CLASSES AND OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION

We are a local community hall. Used by local organisations to carry out and raise funds for their activities, individuals for private functions, a film club, an annual dance festival and the pantomime society holds its annual pantomime and shows. Currently, the hall provides a two day per week Post Office, following the closure of the main Post Office in the village.

Our trustee member organisations offer the following activities:- preschool, toddlers, brownies, dancing, lunch club, fitness sessions, art club, bowling, military modelling, annual church Christmas fair, annual village fete, pantomime group, craft club, gardening club, whist club.
