Barlborough Civic Trust provides two buildings for school and community use with coffee shop facilities two morning a week. There are a wide range of community groups to cater for all ages from social clubs to various exercise activities for the residents of Barlborough and further afield. We now have a before and after school club in the Little School.

To provide and maintain the Village Hall for the use of the Inhabitants of Southwater and the neighbourhood, without distinction of political, religous or other opinions. Including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

TO MAINTAIN LLANELLEN VILLAGE HALL AS A MEETING PLACE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF LLANELLEN

THE HALL IS HIRED BY VARIOUS GROUPS INCLUDING PLAYSCHOOL, BOWLS CLUB, ,SLIMMING CLUB, BINGO, MODEL RAILWAY CLUB AND IS WELL SUPPORTED BY THE COMMUNITY. IT IS ALSO FOR HIRE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR PARTY CELEBRATIONS, MEETINGS, PRIVATE & PROMOTIONAL FUNCTIONS. BLOOD DONOR SESSIONS ARE HELD ON A REGULAR BASIS.

Provision of facilities for local community clubs, educational activities and recreation, and to provide a space for community activities and events.

We hold regular church services on Sundays but also on special Holy days. We also hold regular BIble Study sessions every Wednesday. Apart from a weekly collection, we hold two days of Fellowship during the year to fundraise for our church - these Fellowship days involve a buffet meal together in the church hall and a donation of money towards the church.

Receives funds from Kingston Seymour Trust to meet the maintenance and insurance costs of Kingston Seymour village hall

To maintain Oxhill Village Hall for use by the villagers & others for recreational & educational pursuits. Also for one-off events for the benefit of the community.

The hall provides facilities for numerous activities including badminton, keep fit, dancing, art classes, performing arts, dog training, cubs. Additionally, villagers may hire the hall for parties, wedding receptions, quizzes etc. The hall committee run a pensioners party, and a flower and produce show.

The Burgh Village Hall is used by the community for village activities ie indoor bowling, luncheon club, sports activities etc and the recreation centre is used for local bookings ie bingo, meetings etc
