The Centre is situated on the Market Place, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.The Centre is accessible to large parts of the community, at present we currently have approx 700 visitors per week to the centre. They attend different groups for example:- Before & after school club, Pre School Playgroup, Holiday Club, Mental Health groups, Youth Club, Coffee Bars & Market Research groups.

Youth club: We provide a safe place for young people in the district to come for recreational activities, computer access, fitness, education, counselling and advice from trained professionals.Sports Hall: We provide an affordable venue for groups and residents from the district to hire for fitness and social activities.

To help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

We are a Youth Centre open for any young person aged 13 - 25 years in the Adur Area. Activities at present include: Sports i.e. football, table tennis, pool, dodge ball; arts and crafts, dance, music, tv, junior leader training, educational training.

Youth and Community Centre with Sports Hall with facilities such as badminton, squash, indoor football, basketball, community and arts facilities including conference and celebration activities particularly in support of community voluntary youth work.

Provide and maintain a Youth Centre building for the use of both youth and adult groups for activities such as Scouting, Keep Fit, Dance Classes and other sporting and ad hoc uses.

The provision of a building and grounds for the benefit of children and young people in education or recently left school.The premises are used to provide a youth group, pre-school group, dance class and other ad hoc activities.

Provision of community centre facilities to local area. Rooms and carpark available for hire.

The Sway Youth Centre is provided for a pre school nursery, brownies and guides, pathfinders- church youth people group, a drop in centre for after school groups, Self defense group for young people. The centre is available for hire by young families for parties or special events.

Community Support Alliance will support children and young people through the delivery of a range of activities which which include classic youth center recreation, education and employment support and off site trips. Opportunities will be age-appropriate and include gender-based programs and specialist support for young people at risk of slipping into criminal behavior.

OUR UK BASED WORKER GOES THERE TWICE-YEARLY, TO SUPPORT THE WORK. WE SUPPORT 2 PROJECTS: YOUTH CENTRE IN MANILA; YOUTH & COMMUNITY WORK IN A FISHING VILLAGE IN NEGROS OCCIDENTAL.
