Preserving, extending & refurbishing a 3-bedroom Victorian house in its own large conservation grounds to use as a Community Centre for all ages. Our aim is to provide good facilities for social, educational & sporting activities to local residents and the city of Lincoln at low cost. REGULAR ACTIVITIES ARE: Table tennis, Combatting addiction (alcohol & gambling), Training courses and Support groups run by charities. We also host a lively youth club, as well as a popular parent toddler group and frequently host private events.

Working closely with the Parish Church the Charity provides safe and comfortable Hall, stage and kitchen facilities either freely or with a small charge to any approved club, society or organisation within the Wirral community but in particular to those activities involving the young or teenagers. Usage involving politics or the sale of alcohol is not allowed.

We provide facilities for members of the Centre to participate in the purchase of alcohol and the various recreational pursuits available in the Centre. We also have a large screen television for enhanced viewing by the members.

Our current activities are music & dancing, youth clubs, arts and drama, choir practices, musical education, health education, drug and alcohol counselling, providing housing for those affected by alcohol and drugs.

Skipton Temperance Hall Fund makes donations to local charities involved in a) helping people with alcohol or drug problems, b) organisations which help people in need, c) organisations which encourage a healthy lifestyle and d) organisations involved in youth work.

The principle activities of the charity involve the provision of residential services and support for mental and physical restoration of persons suffering from drug and alcohol abuse or similar problems.

Provision of support and information for people with alcohol problems

To provide assistance and support, in the City of Hereford and surrounding areas, to individuals in need as a result of maltreatment, neglect, crime, delinquency, prostitution, alcoholic addiction, substance misuse and other addictions

Social Aid supports charitable activities carried out in connexion with the Church of England in the Diocese of Hereford, particularly: the promotion of temperance and higher standards of moral life in individuals, family and community; the restoration of the intemperate or delinquent and those addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling or otherwise needing help; the relief of the consequent distress.

Provide information and advice and advocacy on misuse of alcohol and other drugs.

Village Hall available to hire for suitable activities within the remit of our Trust Deed. Not licensed for alcohol.

We makes small grants to charities with a turnover under £300,000 per year . We support UK charities who work with and support groups that are radically disadvantaged: refugees and asylum seekers, substance abusers, offenders and ex-offenders, at risk and marginalised young people, people in insecure housing.

The village hall is used by local inhabitants for various activities such as Lunches, Coffee mornings, Meetings, Garden club, Pilates, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Dances, Discos, Quizzes, Short Mat Bowls, some church services. The hall has a Alcohol licence used for certain events. The car park and adjacent field is also used for summer fund raising activities.It is a meeting place for the community.

We provide in our building quiet recreational activities away from alcohol and the hurly-burly of public entertainment areas specifically for those at home from duty in the armed forces, and for the residents of the parish of Fylingdales.

The trustees job is to look after Longlevens Village Hall so that it is a pleasant clean and tidy place for groups or individuals to hire. We have regular users i.e. WI's, cubs, brownies and dancing classes. Also single hire for sales, quizzes, birthday and anniversary parties and plays. We have an entertainments license, but no alcohol licence. We hold a joint PPL/PRS licence.

The Trust will distribute grants 1 To advance education of all persons in the area of Rossett in the principles of abstinence from alcoholic drinks and drugs2 To relieve sickness of persons in the area who are in danger of dependency on alcoholic drink or drugs3 To provide or assist with provision of facilities for recreation in the area of benefit.

Premises are available to rent for regular group activities,pilates,folk dance,playgroup,childrens parties and social community events only where there is no alcohol. We encourage groups who run keep-fit activities, dance and children's activities

Managed by a group of volunteers, St Martin Parish Hall is maintained for use by members of the public on a self-sufficient basis. Regular hirers include: Church meetings/fund raising events, polling station, private childrens parties. Unsuitable for indoor sports or concerts. Licences for entertainment/sale of alcohol to be applied for on occasion. Tables, chairs

Educational work - Provides information and literature on Alcohol.

Grant making for the public benefit, mainly to causes known to the trustees in the fields of Christian work, disaster relief, developing countries, drug & alcohol abuse, cancer research, the mentally handicapped and young people undetaking educational expeditions.

Activities for Russel St Community are as followed; A 'Keep Fit' session Monday mornings with also a 'Anti Social Meeting' in the evenings.Tuesday afternoon's there is a Bingo club, lasts for 3 hours. Wednesday evenings for 2/half hours there is a 'Alcohol Annoymous' session.Thursdays there is a 'Line Dancing' session which is held in the mornings, whilst a 'Bingo Club' in the afternoon.
