We provide a support service to those diagnosed with Dementia and their carers and families. Primarily we cover the Wendover area.We are a team of volunteers that bring together different knowledge, skills and experiences. Our team includes two retired GPs, a palliative care nurse and bereavement specialist, a frailty care co-ordinator and a Dementia Champion who is experienced dementia care

To provide support and relief, through weekly singing sessions, for people in the Wellingborough area living with dementia, and their carers.

Dementia Carers Support Group was set up in Runnymede to look after and give respite to carers caring for sufferers of all forms of Dementia. The group runs two drop-in centres weekly and other social events such as a breakfast club, respite breaks and quizzes, etc.

Buddies Dementia Cafe is for people living with dementia and their carers. We meet every first and third Thursday of the month between 10.00am and 12.00noon where we provide entertainment, refreshments, advice and friendship in a safe and secure environment. We also provide trips and meals out. The meetings are held at Nettleham Village Hall, Brookfield Avenue, Nettleham, LN22SS.

Organizing Hindu religious,cultural,social activities, and undertaking projects on Health & Well Being and Welfare of Indian and wider communities such as Health Check, Diabetes, Dementia and Mental Health. Understanding of all faiths and no-faith and to participate in social cultural activities with other corporate bodies for social inclusion and economic welfare of youths and older communities.

This years activities have included many trips, parties, playing pool card, games, Easter parade, Christmas Service attended by approx 170 people, The activities vary in the various clubs as the people with dementia and their carers lead in the choice of what they wish to do. It must be their enjoyment and relaxation that is paramount.

Dementia Friendly Honiton supports people in Honiton & the surrounding parishes to live better with dementia. We achieve this by: running Honiton Memory Cafe a social group for people with dementia & their families, run awareness sessions and promote living well with dementia on our social media, & through fundraising we support Honiton Admiral Nurse along with all our other activities

NSART is a group of highly trained volunteers working alongside Nottinghamshire Police to search for and rescue high risk missing vulnerable people, including people with dementia, suicidal and children.NSART is available 365 days a year; 24 hours a day free of charge. NSART is associated to Lowland Rescue and UKSAR.Mutual aid to other UKSAR teams, Police, Ambulance and Fire services.

Welfare Rights Advice Sessions (by appointment), Weight Wathchers Classes, Yoga Sessions, Pensioners Luncheon Club, Youth Club, Growing Collective, Gardening Projects, Community Events, Alzheimer's Activity Groups, Councillors Surgeries, Police Drop In, ASB Officer, Signposting, Food Distribution. All center based and some working in partnership with other voluntary groups/public sector bodies.

We organise regular events including craft, music, table games, seated sports, meals, trips and holidays. Our members are people with personal experience of dementia, as patients, unpaid carers, or health and social care professionals. Carers are welcome to remain in the group after the person they supported dies or moves into residential care.

St Patrick's Hall Organisation Consett provides a substantial community facility and services for the benefit of the people of Consett and surrounding areas. The hall is used by groups such as Slimming World, Alcoholics Anonymous, Keep Fit groups, Various education courses are run e.g. photography, cookery, Lunch clubs and a dementia cafe also take place.

The Camberley Alzheimer Cafe CIO offers 2 services.1. Monthly cafe for people with dementia and their carers to socialise and learn about the emotional side of dementia. All is free to the public including refreshments.2. Educational courses for the public and professionals regarding dementia. Free at delivery, supported by charitable fundsExperts deliver the educational input to both.

Together with Hadleigh United Reformed Church to provide a community centre facility for the residents of Hadleigh, Suffolk. To run two lunch clubs, a Memories Cafe for people living with dementia and a digital cinema.

The charity provides social, emotional and practical support to people with dementia, their carers and former carers living in the Borough of Rugby and its surrounding area. The charity provides information and runs workshops in dementia awareness to the wider public.

We provide projects in music & arts aimed at 4 key groups, children, retired people, the disabled & those in social & economic deprivation.We run choirs for ages 4-80, & singing groups for adults with mental & physical disabilities, stroke survivors, those with dementia & Age UK. The Robert Parker Charity through its Centre offers the elderly of Bloxwich and Blakenhall area, free of charge, a dementia cafe group for people living with dementia to provide reminiscence, stimulating activity and socialisation and two weekly groups providing cognitive stimulation therapy in a warm and friendly environment.
