FAMILIES ARE VISITED REGULARLY IN THEIR OWN HOMES BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ALL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF PARENTING AND KNOW HOW HARD THINGS CAN BE.

Breaking Down Barriers is a charitable organisation working with communities in nationwide. SoCo Music Project supports wellbeing and progression through music. Our core activities include: supporting young people at risk of offending; working with children and young people with special educational needs/disabilities; providing activities for adults who are vulnerable through substance misuse and/or poor mental health. We also support creatives to connect/collaborate through networking.

Activities include: Food for all programme, nutritious take away, Credit Union, Advocacy Support, Job Search, Foodbank, Youthgroup, Pop up Ping Pong Parlour, Community Gardens, intergenerational learning, Dementia Cafe, Activities and free snacks for children and young people during school holidays, community gardening, partnership work with schools and other local groups.

The charity aims to relieve the needs of people diagnosed with cancer, their families and carers by providing or funding the provision of support and assistance.

Focus Counselling is able to deliver a professional counselling service provided by qualified and skilled counsellors. It is able to offer support to adults and children suffering from depression, eating disorders, abuse, relationship problems, bereavement and a wide range of life crises.It is our aim to alleviate despair and suffering without religious, sexual or racial prejudice.

Promote independence of those who have been affected by substance misuse, by providing support and information eg: access to local support networks; manage/organise educational and learning events; provide life skills training, information and services designed to enable independent living; make grants of money or provide items or services to improve quality of life.

The Lucy Rayner Foundation exists to raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression and mental ill health in young adults, to support young adults and their families through campaigning, education and training. Beads of Courage restores a child's sense of self when coping with a serious illness.

We aim to embed mentally healthy movement in primary school aged children by shaping the culture, policy and provision of movement to support children's mental health. We develop and deliver products and services to help organisations, such as schools, understand and improve how to support staff and children in positively shaping their mental health.

The Magdalene Group prevents sexual exploitation, coercion and grooming of women and those involved in sex work by providing 1:1 support, addressing issues with homelessness, criminal justice, mental health etc. Also working with young people affected by exploitation to recognise and move away from unhealthy relationships. The Society works to improve the overall quality of life for people with a visual impairment in North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, East and West Lindsey and Lincoln City. We achieve this by enabling and encouraging independent living through home visiting, the provision of and access to information, equipment and services and the development of community based activities and support.

In short the main activities we will be doing are- running lunch clubs for older people- running play schemes during school holidays for deaf children- providing information, advocacy and advice- running deaf clubs and organising social activities

The purpose is the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire. At present the activities consist of operating a food bank, wellbeing activities to improve or manage mental health, community eco-cafe, employability support, advice, signposting and work and skills training for job-seekers.
