Our hall has a community fridge and there are many events run by our volunteers for the people of Highfield to become involved in: cash/prize bingo, psychic evenings, table top sales and our santa's grotto is not to be missed, we start the New Year with a family favourite - Panto!

Sessions include Healthy Eating,Gym and Weights, Arts and Crafts, Computer Activities and sessions for young people who have left school but are not employed.

We run a much needed charity shop with affordable goods for local people and a drop-in centre , we offer spiritual and emotional counselling, healthy living workshops, gentle chair based exercise , aerobic classes and away day trips to the sea side and places of interest

Classes on meditation and Modern Buddhism according to the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa.

To acquire, procure or otherwise obtain and supply medical and surgical equipment, medecines, preparations, appliances and apparatus for the hospitals in Derby and South Derbyshire in order to add to the said hospitals' facilities to investigate, diagnose, prevent, relieve and cure sickness and ill health of every kind.

1. To advance public education and training in the field of medicine by supporting medical professionals through training, workshops, seminars and personal engagement. 2. Provision of scholarships to help doctors, nurses and paramedics from all parts of India to come to the United Kingdom for training/attachment.

Charity to support Fertility counsellors and promote Fertility counselling

The Trust is for the benefit of poor people who through ill health, disability or old age are unable to earn their own livelihood; for educational and training purposes; and for the benefit of hospitals, nursing and convalescent homes or similar objects for the advancement of health or saving of lives. Supports wildlife/conservation projects for the benefit of the local community.

WE offer oxygen therapy treatment to sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis and other conditions We also offer a range of Alternative complimentary therapies i.e Physiotherapy, Yoga, Massage, Reflexology etc

We are a church operating in and serving North Walsham and the surrounding areas. We carry out regular church activities - church services and so on - as well as running an assortment of social activities, children's and youth groups. We are also involved in other various activities such as counselling, particularly pregnancy crisis and bereavement counselling.

The team provides search & rescue facilities for use by police/ambulance services, mainly in West Yorkshire, but throughout England/Wales. The team also provides training and gives talks/visits to various interested groups, about mountain rescue.

In order to achieve the objects of the charity the trustees have the power to purchase or hire a motor launch to carry patients, medical supplies, doctors, dentists, nurses and other persons working for the health of the people of the Isles of Scilly.

Crossline is a counselling service based upon the Christian faith and doctrine. Our objectives and activities are to promote and protect the physical, spiritual and mental health of those who have need by way of a Christian ethos and counselling that includes support for couples and individuals regardless of faith.

Residential and Nursing Care Daycare to the community

The aims of the Charity are:- advancing the Christian religion for the benefit of local inhabitants- supporting local people in matters relating to their mental, physical & social welfareIts activities include:- drop-in cafe- children's work, with links to local schools- Christian counselling

The trust maintains a monastry with five resident monks (mostly of Burmese origin) who perform religious ceremonies as required. Major Buddhist festivals are celebrated at the Peace Pagoda. Meditation is taught to anyone interested and regular sessions are held for practitioners of varying experience. The Pagoda is open to visitors and groups are welcome.

The principal activities of the charity have continued to be discussions and the dissemination of literature, prayer meditation and intercessions. The charity has also continued to increase its work in the country by promoting conferences and retreats.

The charity seeks to help those in need of convalescence, for whatever reason, who cannot afford the total cost of such convalescence. 1) Persons recovering from sickness, medical or surgical treatment. 2) Such persons who are in a weak state of health and require a change of air, or require respite care.

The Charity's objects are to promote the benefit of elderley and handicapp people by relieving need, age hardship, sickness and mental or physical handicapp through the provision of a daycare community centre

provide vedic knowlededge, yoga and meditation, perform rituals and celebration of Cultural festivals. help people in religious understanding and preaching philosophy of Yoga. We teach languages Hindi and sanskrit also recitation classes for bhagwad gita, ramayan and upnishdas are held on weekdays and sundays.

Grant making

We hold Weekly Worship,Study and prayer meetings. We endeavour to meet the needs of the low income families in Lambeth tackling poverty,community breakdowns and strengthening families through worship, workshops and advice/ counselling sessions. Our Overseas efforts are aimed at tackling poverty,sponsors,medical supplies and clothes to the communities within Sierra Leone,Uganda and Burundi
