We run an Outreach service for women and girls who have experienced domestic abuse and other harmful practices. We support them with their mental health and wellbeing allowing them to make informed decisions about their lives. We empower the women to become confident, independent, and self-reliant. We inspire women to support others by volunteering and by providing a safe space to share ideas.

The Mindfulness Initiative conducts research and educates leaders, policy makers, service commissioners and the public about the theory and practice of mindfulness and compassion training. It works with legislators around the world to help them make capacities of heart and mind serious considerations of public policy, and explore how mindfulness training may improve political discourse.

We offer creative and play therapy to children and young people aged between 4-16 years old in Berkshire and Wiltshire areas. This supports those affected by traumatic life events and struggling emotionally. We also offer one-to-one Counselling for adults, couples therapy and systemic family sessions. In addition to our therapeutic services we run accredited training equipping lives for good.

Our Centre runs classes, day courses, workshops, chaplaincy, visits, GP and FP. Through GP we introduce basic Buddhist view, meditation and action, and other teachings and practices, of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition of Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa. FP enables extensive study of Sutra teachings. GP and FP help deepen our experience of Buddha's teachings & the commentaries by Ven Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The charity supports young cancer patients up to and including their 25th birthday who are palliative. Dragonfly Dreams and Cash Gifts of up to £500 are given, with the emphasis on creating memories. Specialist Arts and Craft boxes are donated to young people's cancer wards across the U.K.

Mending Injured Minds is a Nottinghamshire based registered charity which provides face to face or telephone counselling and support, including group work, to adults and young people who are suffering adverse mental health issues due to trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The organisation offers prisons in the UK with training and support to encourage improvement in the nutritional value, variety, and quality of the food served inside prisons. This includes menu consultation and development, staff training,cooking support and healthy eating initiatives. It also offers education on nutrition and healthy eating habits, cooking skills, growing and ingredients.

To promote health and wellbeing to patients and their loved ones affect by melanoma and other forms of skin cancer by:(A) Providing counselling, support and holistic therapies for people affected by melanoma and skin cancer.(B) Raising awareness of malignant melanoma and skin cancer.

Colne Citadel opens mon to frid 10 am - 2pm as an informal 'drop-in' centre for refreshments, light lunches and company, We hold craft friendship groups mondays( all welcome), lunch, social/bingo tuesdays, 'Nattershack' fridays free, professional counselling service is available. Roots4life is a community action project set up to tackle childhood obesity. To achieve this we intend to teach cooking skills, horticulture and the importance of nutrition. We also include exercise and mindfulness to support mental well being. It is hoped to include families, schools and community groups.
