The FoMSH supports Michael Sobell House the hospice and centre for palliative care at Mount Vernon Hospital. Hospital Rooms is an arts and mental health charity that believes in the enduring power of art to instil value, dignity and wellbeing in people. We commission museum quality artists to create thoughtful, therapeutic and creative environments in mental health units and run arts workshops for service users. We focus on co-production and work in genuine partnership with each unit's community.

We operate a Day/Therapy Centre for disabled and older people. They enjoy social interaction, games, exercise, assisted baths and home cooked food. Personal Carers assist when required.We also run Dial-a-Ride & Community Transport enabling users to enjoy independence-enabling visits to doctors, hospitals, friends/family and shopping. We run home-to-school SEN transport.

THE CHARITY UNDERPINS THE WORK OF THE NHS ON THE FYLDE COAST TO IMPROVE HOSPITALS AND HEALTHCARE

Members of the Community continued to work in hospitals and nursing homes providing medical and nursing support. In the local parish communities the sisters undertake pastoral work, including adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, visiting and administering the Eucharist to the lonely, sick, aged, bereaved and other members of the community. They are also involved in other aspects of parish life.

To enhance the provision of healthcare services provided by the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The charity will make available funds that enable the purchase of equipment and delivery of care that would otherwise be either: beyond the financial resources of the NHS Foundation Trust; or outside the scope of service permitted under relevant NHS legislation.

The charity provides veterinary services for members of the public

The trustees shall hold the charitable fund upon trust to apply the income and at their discretion, so far as may be permissible, the capital, for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the National Health Service.

Provide support to homeless patients admitted to hospital by mentoring & advocating for homeless people during hospital stays & following discharge; define, establish & implement a model of medical respite care for homeless patients; support the Faculty of Homeless & Inclusion Health, ensure homeless people have a voice in healthcare provision and a role in co-production of Pathway's work.

The Charity operates in Dorset and Hampshire, operating 13 Charity Shops.The profits of which are used to help and support those who have, or have had Breast Cancer.ie equipment needed in Hospitals that would not have been supplied by the NHS.The Charity has also set up it's own Breast Cancer Support Centre in Wimborne, where financial help and advice can be given regarding post op wigs/bras

Bedford Hospitals Charity was founded in 1988 to improve the equipment and facilities for patients and staff at Bedford Hospitals. It has raised 9.5million, notably 2.5million for the Primrose Oncology Unit and 765,000 for cancer projects. The appeal to raise 750,000 to expand cancer services at Bedford is now complete and the current one is for a new MRI scanner costing over 1million.

Raising money for the Royal Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital in order to purchase much needed equipment not provided by the NHS Trust.

Caring for people in the Sid Valley with life limiting illnesses

On 30.06.2022 we converted from a Trust (Reg 1106677) to a CIO. Our activities have not changed. We support children with life challenging conditions, and their families, across London, Surrey and Sussex by providing tailored support, in hospital and at home. Latch is here for families affected by childhood cancer in Wales, providing bespoke emotional, practical and financial support. The charity is based at the Children's Hospital for Wales in Cardiff. We support children with cancer and those undergoing cancer-like treatment who are under the care of the Paediatric Oncology Principal Treament Centre in Wales at the Children's Hospital.

A whole range of activities including twice weekly parent/ carers and toddlers group; a football team, Hub Athletic; sports coaching; after school clubs, Hub Art club and a youth club; a Foodbank; Mentoring for young people referred by St Thomas Hospital A&E staff; Night shelter for the homeless in partnership with Robes project; Debt advice service; and Waterloo Farm.

CRASH is a grant making charity, providing grants, pro bono professional expertise and materials to Homelessness Charities and Hospices to improve their buildings. CRASH acts as a facilitator, for companies in the construction industry to help homeless people and people with life limiting illnesses.

Inter Care sends targeted medical aid to rural health units in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Malawi. The health units we support serve a catchment population of over 10 million and include clinics, hospitals, dispensaries and centres for orphaned and vulnerable children. The medical aid Inter Care sends consists mainly of medicines and healthcare goods that are donated or purchased in country.
