The Human Milk Foundation provides screened donor milk to babies in hospital or the community, where breastfeeding is impossible or taking time to establish. The HMF also makes grants available for research and educational purposes, and develops programmes of education related to disseminating the science of human milk.

The principal activity is the management of the Almshouses, of Rye Hill and Benwell. The number of flats for occupation by Brethren are 19 at Rye Hill and 41 at Thomas Horsley House.

Maelor Voluntary Service provides a service and support for patients, visitors and staff of the Wrexham Maelor Hospital through the sale of refreshments in five cafes situated throughout the hospital.The MVS donates all possible monies to the hospital trust via a Gifting List. This 'Wish List' includes medical equipment the Trust budget cannot otherwise acquire.

The charity exists to maintain the hospital which consists of 24 almshouses, a chapel and ancillary buildings. Qualifying persons over 60 entitled to reside here are elected from local parishes. The Friends of Conquest Hospital raise funds to give grants for the relief of patients of Conquest Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need for financial assistance and give support to the staff of the said Hospital so that they can better perform their duties.

MedEquip4Kids improves the health of babies and children in the UK by providing hospitals with equipment not available from limited NHS resources and delivering mental health workshops in schools.

Fundraising for hospital funding

NAPA is the professional association for Activity Providers and activity provision for care and support services in the UK. We set activity standards and provide professional and practice development services for activity and care teams. Our members provide care and support services to adults these include care homes, supported living, day services, hospitals and community services.

The Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust Charitable Fund is an umbrella charity. It is split into 150 separate funds. All of these funds bar one are designated to be spent within specific locations or service areas of the Trust. One fund, the General Fund, can be spent hospital wide. Funds are mainly spent on equipment and facilities and staff training and welfare.
