PJAH holds two public Open Days each year, also fundraising events. Funds raised are put towards ensuring animals in the care of the Charity are happy and have a good quality of life. The main expenditure is the maintenance,upgrading hospice facilties and funding the ongoing veterinary care that comes with caring for older, palliative and disabled animals. We also support neuter schemes abroad

Through delivering a range of creative activities Suffolk Artlink improves the quality of life for older people in care, older people living independently, people suffering from dementia and mental ill health, people with learning difficulties, young people in areas with high deprivation indices, young people at risk of exclusion and children in hospital and hospices.

To run & operate one coffee shop and trolley service, funds to be used on the hospital, patients and staff amenities.

Provides for the welfare of people with disabilities living in and around Craven, North Yorkshire and assisting them to integrate into society. We operate 8 minibuses with full disability access including wheelchair lifts. We collect them from their homes and take them to Doctors & Hospital appointments, Dentists, Shopping etc.

Making grants for capital projects to organisations which are located close to where C & J Clark Ltd employees, ex employees, pensioners and their dependents live. Occasionally grants for startup costs but not to individuals nor for running costs.Examples of recipients of recent grants have included schools, hospitals, community facilities, sports, village halls, preservation etc

The objectives and activities of the League of Friends are to encourage and maintain the interest of the public in the patients and to support the work of the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Herne Bay.

Provision of homes for widows of dalesmen and farmers living in Waddington and the surrounding parishes

UMNST is an independent Christian charity focusing on addressing poverty primarily in Nepal by in particular, but not solely, promoting the charitable purposes of United Mission to Nepal an INGO that has worked only in Nepal for over sixty years to alleviate poverty, and its 50+ Nepali registered partner organisations and its two hospitals.

The Trust is concentrating resources on supporting young people with mental health challenges in the Banbury, Oxfordshire area including Warwickshire and South Northamptonshire while continuing to support the Oxford Children?s Hospital and those arts organisations which the Trustees have supported for many years. There are unlikely to be resources available for new applicants in the near future.

TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF SWANAGE HOSPITAL

Helping St Bartholomew's Hospital by personal service and by the provision of such amenities for the patients and staff as would not be available for them under the NHS

Regular parish worship open to all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer/contemplation. Pastoral work: visiting sick/bereaved, funerals, baptisms, weddings. Promoting Christian faith through church school, group study/quiet days. Provision of halls space at affordable cost for community activities. Fundraising to support local centre for homeless people, hospices and overseas mission.

Run soup kitchens (gratis) providing food, clothing and other support as deemed necessary. Provide temporary over-night shelter for homeless men on an ad-hoc basis. Find assistance for alcoholics and drug addicts.Christian preaching and evangelisation at various parishes, schools, retreats and conferences. Hospital chaplaincy. Various works to promote respect for all human life at every stage.

The aims of the charity shall be to provide memory making experiences, predominantly by free holidays, for adults and children facing life threatening, life shortening and terminal conditions. To offer a memory making experience to allay from the daily stress of pain, hospitals, finances and loss, to give families the time together to make memories when their time together is so precious.

The charity provides amenities to improve the comfort of the patients & staff of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Medical research is also supported & substantial grants made for works of improvement benefiting patients, staff & visiting relatives. The charity is able, from time to time, to purchase medical & surgical equipment which the Trust is unable to fund from its own budget.

There are a wide variety of activities which take place with in the charity depending upon the skills and abilities of the Sisters. They include visiting the sick at home or in hospital, supporting families who need help with various situations in life. They also offer pastoral education to both children and adults and spend a lot of time caring for and helping the homeless.

Almshouse foundation with premises open to the public and having also an educational mandate. Includes Franciscan gardens (greyfriars), the site of the first Franciscan Monastery in England. Eastbridge Hospital is an Anglican foundation with chapels in regular use.

We provide respite holidays for families who have a child suffering from the life-threatening illness of Cystic Fibrosis. Each family is referred to us by their CF child's hospital. Holidays are for families from all areas of the UK, and are taken within the UK.

To enable people of all ages who are without one or more limbs to achieve rehabilitation and independence in hospital, home, education, employment and the community.

The charity's key purpose is to use it's resources to support the NHS and specifically the services provided by The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The type of activities that the charity funds are training and research, provision of specialist medical equipment and services that would not normally be provided from NHS resources but enhance the patients experience.

To improve the survival rate from catastrophic health events within the community throughout the UK, specifically:1. Out of hospital cardiac arrests; and2. Traumatic bleeds arising from various causes including, work/road accidents, impalement, stabbings, etc.To achieve this, we seek strategic placement of medical equipment within the community and greater public awareness and training.

To help with the funding of the Clinical Oncology Department at the Royal Cornwall Hospital through the provision of medical equipment and other facilities and the provision of bursaries for members of the Department in support of research, education and development in oncology treatments.
