The objects of the Friends shall be to provide support and assistance to patients of the Blandford Community Hospital and preserve and protect the health of the community by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the NHS or statutory authorities.

The provision of those extras and luxuries that the NHS does not provide for its patients, and those caring for them.

The primary beneficiaries are 22 young adults with special needs at Casa Lumina Romania. For whom this is their home. It is a model in the region for the care of those with special needs.Children's Hospice Lumina for children with terminal or life limiting illness and base for community palliative care services in the Bacau region Romania.Working in Ukraine helping those displaced by the war

The Foundation supports the following; Social Welfare - particularly the relief of need, hardship and distress, Community Development, work which supports Children, Young People and the Elderly, local Hospitals and Hospices and Christian Activities. Grants can be one-off or recurrent and are made primarily in Tyneside and Northumberland.

The Charity makes donations for the benefit of children and other charitable causes.The Charity sponsors visits to Childrens' care homes and hospices by the theatrical group, Magical Quests.The Charity supports the Society of Friends of Jewish Refugees and the Cinematograph Trades Benevolent Fund.

The McCabe Educational Trust is the charitable partner to McCabe Pilgrimages. We aim to give something back to the many inspiring people we meet on pilgrimage. We do this with practical financial support for childrens homes, schools for the blind, rehabilitation hospitals and similar projects.

The charity supports the Nixon Memorial Hospital in Segbwema Sierra Leone. It funds essential medicine provision, staff training, community health work through latrine building and health education. It facilitates voluntary medical staff to work at the hospital and also funds infrastructure projects including improvements to the water supply on the hospital site.

Investment of funds, grants made only for the benefit of persons resident in Preston.

The provision of housing accommodation for persons over 60 years of age and of good character who are in need, hardship or distress, with a preference being given to those aged over 63 years of age who are members of the Church of England.

Volunteering in Health is a social prescribing health and wellbeing charity based in the local hospital. We support lonely, isolated people in Teignmouth, Dawlish and Chudleigh in South Devon mainly through 1:1 home visits to help empower people to take more control over their own health and wellbeing. Our volunteers support with transport to medical appointments, administration and befriending.

We are one of London's largest unauditioned choral societies with around 300 regular members, offering amateur voices an opportunity to sing a variety of choral works under professional guidance. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about singing classical choral music, participating in our community and performing with us at concerts in major venues and with professional musicians.
