Accommodation and Housing

The charity is helping the people injured in the Earthquake in Bhuj on 26th January 2001,We are running a small hospital in Sukhpur. In July 2007 we have renovated the attachedannex building to provide additional consultation rooms and staff accommodation. We havestarted a physio department from August 2007. We are assiting with donations to Sukpur meals on wheels for the elderly people.

WE OFFER FREE ADVICE, SUPPORT AND WELLBEING SERVICES TO ADULT CANCER PATIENTS FROM DIAGNOSIS UP TO 3 YEARS OF TREATMENT ENDING. WE HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THE HANTS HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST. OUR SERVICES INCLUDE, COUNSELLING, MASSAGE & REFLEXOLOGY, HAIR/SKIN/NAIL ADVICE, WELLBEING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

The League of Friends helps to support the Newport Cottage Care Centre, Upper Bar, Newport. Shropshire - also finance the xray unit at the care centre with the proceeds of a charity shop in Baddeley Court, Newport.

THE PROVISION OF ONE BEDROOMED BUNGALOWS TO PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER AND LIMITED MEANS WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO THOSE RESIDING WITHIN THE FORMER COUNTY BOROUGH OF DONCASTER. REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED AND OCCUPANCY GRANTED AFTER INTERVIEW TO DETERMINE NEED AND COMPATIBILITY WITH EXISTING OCCUPANCY PROFILE. PAYMENT OF PENSION NOT EXCEEDING -12.00 EVERY 28 DAYS TO THE NEEDY POOR.

The Charity is responsible for running an almshouse for 12 single women in York who are over 50 and in emotional, physical or financial distress
