As our name suggests, we are a friendly group whose main fundraising activity is the provision of refreshments for patients, staff and visitors from our coffee bar in North Tees Hospital. Funds raised provide patient comforts and amenities not available through the NHS.

Educational grants to members of the League of St. Bartholomew's Nurses and Benevolent Grants to League members and nurses who have trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital (EC1A 7BE) and are in financial difficulty or in need of friendship and advice.

Provision of almshouses for persons of limited means

Fundraising to promote the relief of sickness of children by providing funds to assist with the provision of a bone marrow transplant unit at the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital.

RSL PROVIDE EDUCATION, NUTRITION, SHELTER, REHABILITATION, TRAINING AND SKILLS. IT EMPOWERS AFFECTED COMMUNITIES. IT PROVIDES MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR LOCAL HOSPITALS.

We utilise boots-on-the-ground processes to restore hope and encourage those in need. Whether it's providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to NHS staff, care packages and warm clothing to hospital wards, or by giving a rough sleeper a warm cup of coffee, toiletries, or blankets, we offer our services free of charge in a non-judgmental, non-invasive environment.

In line with its objectives, Shevet Achim UK help sponsor children with major heart defects from Iraq and Gaza to have lifesaving treatment at Israeli hospitals, through the cooperation of Shevet Achim volunteers in Israel and medical experts at Israeli hospitals. Its area of focus in the UK is informing groups of the reconciliation enabled by such endeavours.

The main charity activities of the Grenada Voluntary Hospital committee are donation the three hospitals in Grenada with special attention to the children ward and most recent the female wards. The charity's objects are the advancement of health for the public benefit by promoting high quality care for those with haemoglobin disorders, by undertaking educational activities for healthcare professionals, and by involvement in quality reviews and quality assessments of aspects of care in provider hospitals and community services.

The Charity's main purpose, as set out in the governing document, is to raise funds to provide amenities for patients and staff at the Queen Victoria Hospital.

The maintenance and management of 8 modern (1986) almhouses/bungalows occupied by single women over the age of 50, who have lived in Shrewsbury or within 5 miles of it.

Human Medical Aid provides medical treatment to the neediest in the village of Tadkeshwar in Gujarat, India. HMA works with the Shifa hospital in Tadkeshwar and funds patient treatment and the purchase of new equipment and build and fit out of facilities.HMA raises donations from the UK diaspora of this community and the diaspora in Reunion, a French Department in the Indian Ocean.

Stories for Life records life stories face to face or remotely with those who are in the last chapter of life in a variety of settings; hospices, hospitals, care homes or in their own homes. Our biographers are specialist volunteers trained by us. Our phone service can include the recording of less formally structured conversations between family members/ friends of a different generation.

Fundraising in order to purchase equipment for the Special Care Baby Unit at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan. We provide financial help for parents who have babies who spend a considerable amount of time in the Unit, that do not get financial assistance from the state. We provide things that the hospital funds do not cover. We receive donations from the public.
