Hospital radio station with a feel good sound serving Ashford & St. Peter's hospitals and also available on the internet to reach those receiving care in the community and to encourage a healthy lifestyle. We aim specifically benefit anyone in the ASPH Trust hospitals and those living in the boroughs of Runnymede, Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Woking.

THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN IN NEED, BY REASON OF ILL-HEALTH OR DISABILITY WHO ARE PATIENTS IN NHS HOSPITALS OR CHARITABLE HOSPICES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF READING, COLOURING, TOYS, AND POP CULTURE MATERIALS NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND/ OR ANCILLARY TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE NHS.

Christian religious activities which include worship,evangelism and gospel outreach,discipleship training. We also engage in intercessory prayer and christian faith counselling. We do regular visitation to prisons and hospitals in other to pray for people.

Grants for educational purposes

Provision of small funds to the needy (if and when arises) and annually to Village Care (Car Transport service to doctor / hospital open to all village residents)

With the rebuild of the hospital, from the original 1930's building to a the new facility, the Friends now provides a small convenience shop for use by the public attending for all outpatient services; also for inpatients and relatives of the four wards, as well as the hospital staff, and respond to requests for medical and other equipment requested.

Supporting families, hospitals & the fight against Meningitis

PROVIDES EQUIPMENT & OTHER NEEDS FOR PATIENTS & STAFF.

1/ Making grants to Christian charities. 2/ Making grants and paying pensions to former employees of the Mildmay Mission Hospital who are in impoverished circumstances.

Apply for Grants to assist the Hospital.Run Raffles etc;Organise Open Days with Stalls to assist the Hospital.Receive Donations from the general public.

Fund raise in order to provide or assist in the provision of equipment, facilities & services for the Princess of Wales Hospital Ely in addition to that provided locally by the statutory authorities

A concert and training band comprising approx. 22 players, aged 12 - 80. We play for about 5 functions each year, some paid and some for charities. We play evening / supper concerts; garden parties and summer fetes; church events and for our nominated charity, St Michael's Hospice;

Organising events and street collections, such as a summer Gala and annual Fireworks display. Provide assistance to local bodies and charities such as Children's Hospice, nursery groups and Senior Citizens meeting groups, schools sports clubs and other worthy causes. Since March 2020 we have operated a temporary foodbank and supported three Women's Refuges in N. Wales with food donations

Transportation of any resident of Clevedon to hospitals and surgeries or for any other medical purpose.

FUND RAISING FOR HOSPITAL WARD ALAW

The League of Friends of Warwick Hospital aims to encourage the interest of the public in the patients of Warwick Hospital and the raising of funds for the benefit or welfare of the patients and staff or to supplement the resources of the hospital service. The League of Friends also assists in the recruitment of voluntary workers in the hospital.

THE AIM OF THE CHARITY IS TO HELP THE NHS WITH THE PROVISION OF INTENSIVE CARE FACILITIES SO THAT PATIENTS FROM GLOUCESTERSHIRE CAN RECEIVE THE SPECIALIST CARE THEY NEED

Lifestraws, Fundraise and give donations to local orgnisations i.e Lindsey Lodge Hospice, local schools and national organisations i.e RNIB

The Charity distributes various monies to support a variety of charities such as care and relief of cancer, hospitals, art, animals, church, children, lifeboats, ex-servicemen. It operates in Scotland as well as England.

To provide support and relief to Frome Community Hospital and its patients, staff and visitors. To promote the recruitment of voluntary helpers. To support the provision of information and education for local residents and to cooperate with such other bodies in respect of and to support research into health matters. To raise funds and accept gifts to achieve the charity's objectives

1 Providing funds in the form of Donations to improve the Health of people living in Eastern Srilanka.2 Improve the Health Facilities in eastern Srilanka, where there is a gap in government funding such as mobile clinics3.Support to Children with nutrition, education, and health care4.Support to elderly people in the community for health and well being.

Charitable expenditure this year of £53,111 (2021: £47,880), includes £52,542 (2021:£47057) which represents the cost of items and services provided and grants to 3 local groups and organizations who we felt met our criteria of offering health and well-being to members of the community. . The remainder was used to pay for administration and governance.

Rookwood Sound Radio is a health and wellbeing radio service which is based at Llandough Hospital. We are run by volunteers. We produce and present a diverse range of radio programmes with speech and music, we play requests for patients, carers and staff. We provide health and wellbeing related information to those receiving care through interviews and other mechanisms.

The charity provides funds to Velindre Hospital to assist in the purchase of medical equipment. The charity provides support and assistance to patients to improve their comfort and welfare.
