With the rebuild of the hospital, from the original 1930's building to a the new facility, the Friends now provides a small convenience shop for use by the public attending for all outpatient services; also for inpatients and relatives of the four wards, as well as the hospital staff, and respond to requests for medical and other equipment requested.
