The Trust raises funds in memory of Ciaran, who suffered from a genetic skin disorder called Keratitis-Ichthyosis-Deafness Syndrome (KID syndrome). The Trust aims to help people with similar conditions, as well as supporting research and promoting awareness about the difficulties of living with the multiple disabilities of blindness, deafness and skin disorders.

The relief of persons who are deaf or have hearing loss and are cochlear implantees and their families, through in particular, but not limited to, the provision of education and information, support, recreation and leisure activities, in order to improve their conditions of life.

The PTFA was set up to raise funds for additional resources to enhance the educational experiences of deaf pupils at the school. Although Royal Cross is based in Preston, pupils come from all over Lancashire and neighbouring authorities. Charity activities include fundraising for a new minibus, signed theatre performances, subsidised family outings and workshops, fun days and social events.

Social activities and information for deaf children and their families in West Norfolk. We organise events that enable deaf children to get together, have fun and meet other children with hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Lessons with children who have learning or sensory disabilities are held at the local riding stables. We support Wanstead Community Riding Stables CIC events.

The club acts as a focus at the Oxford Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for social activities for the hearing impaired. It comprises a mixed social group of individuals of mature age who have impaired hearing or an interest in hearing impaired people or hearing impairment issues. It meets weekly and has activities that include outside speakers, social meetings and activity meetings.

The principal activity of providing information and advice for deaf and hard-of-hearing people is conducted through periodic information and advice sessions, hearing-aid battery exchange and re-tubing services.

Raises funds to distribute to agencies providing services to Jewish children in need of special care in the UK and Israel. THE SCHOOL TRAINS BLIND, DEAF, DUMB AS WELL AS ABLE BODIED STUDENTS IN IT SKILLS. WE HAVE RECENTLY BUILT A HOSTEL THAT ALLOWS DISABLED AND BLIND PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER INDIA LIVE IN OUR CENTRES WHILE THEY STUDY IN THE SCHOOL.
