To foster beneficial links between healthcare professionals from Hereford in UK and from Muheza in Tanzania. To facilitate educational visits between the two regions. To support the work of Muheza Hospice. To organise medical student electives to Muheza. To provide financial support for healthcare professionals in Muheza to attend educational courses or conferences.

Makes grants to eleven core charities from sectors including health and hospices, youth, music and the arts.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust , the available income is paid to named Hospice for the purposes specified. The Trustees are satisfied that these purposes remain charitable and for the public benefit. Provides companionship, welfare and modest financial assistance to widows and dependents of all who served in the Armed Forces, to retired armed forces personnel and to retired members of the nursing profession who help in a variety of ways in hospitals, hospices and other volunteer-based organisations.

Friends of the Beacon is the charitable body supporting the non NHS activities of the Beacon Centre in Guildford (part of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care) a Palliative Day Care facility for persons suffering from cancer or other life changing/threatening illlness serving patients within the area covered by the Surrey PCT

We give grants, not exceeding 5000, to local and national charitable organisations supporting young people to help them get a proper start in life, for example by facilitating technical training. We presently provide specialist palliative Hospice Care services to those diagnosed with terminal illness in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Matts Mission Children's Charity grants wishes to seriously ill children with Cancer and Special Needs. The charity aim is all about making children's smiles glow, we provide family trips as well as gifts to children in a hospital or hospice. The charity has an adapted holiday home in which we provide free breaks for the whole family. We also offer sibling support sessions.

Children's Hospices across London (CHaL) is the management company that brings together children's hospices that provide a service in London to ensure that a consistent high quality offer of children's hospice and related services is available to children, young people and families across London in order to maximise the impact of hospice care in life and at death.

The provision of care to those with life threatening illnesses and in particular the promotion of the hospice movement in general and the work of Dove House Hospice, Hull, HU8 8DH (registered charity number 509551) in particular. Further objectives include the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion and other purposes beneficial to the community.

To promote, amongst other things, the advancement of health and the saving of lives. Funds are raised by hosting a range of social and equestrian events. Grants are made to registered charities including Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, East Sussex Farmers Benevolent Fund and a number of hospices.

Stories for Life records life stories face to face or remotely with those who are in the last chapter of life in a variety of settings; hospices, hospitals, care homes or in their own homes. Our biographers are specialist volunteers trained by us. Our phone service can include the recording of less formally structured conversations between family members/ friends of a different generation.

Baptism, Marriage, Babies & Children Dedication, Funerals, Children's Sunday School based on Christian principles & provide facilities for meetings of members of our local Neighbourhood Watch and Tenants Association. Contributions to various charities, including Richard House Hospice, food parcels for the elderly, sick and needy. Bible studies, prayer and fellowship - all open to the community.

Alexandra House of Joy will be a purpose built community which will provide much needed facilities for Adults with Profound Learning Disability. We will offer a Respite Care Service for short breaks, a Day Time Support Centre, and an essential end of life Hospice Service. Alexandra House will offer opportunities of employment, for Adults with Learning Disability, in the kitchen gardens and cafe.
