A GRANT GIVING BODY FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND DISABILITY FOR CHILDREN IN THE COLCHESTER AREA WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM SICKNESS, DISABILITY OR TERMINAL ILLNESS IN ANY SUCH WAY AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

Magic Lantern runs interactive art history workshops in schools and a range of adult groups including prisons, homeless centres and hospices. We show that anyone can understand and enjoy art. We also show how art can enhance and bring to life any curriculum subject or topic and can help develop a range of life skills including problem solving, critical thinking, communication and confidence.

Baptism, Marriage, Babies & Children Dedication, Funerals, Children's Sunday School based on Christian principles & provide facilities for meetings of members of our local Neighbourhood Watch and Tenants Association. Contributions to various charities, including Richard House Hospice, food parcels for the elderly, sick and needy. Bible studies, prayer and fellowship - all open to the community.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

We mainly work within the Chorley, Lancashire area and provide support to Churches and other organisations. We are a Christian charity and support the work of local hospices and other caring charities. We sell Christian literature, CDs, DVDs, cards, music, etc. including church and school supplies. We carry a large stock. The shop was extended during 2011.

Charitable purposes for the public as the Trustees shall think fit giving special consideration to charitable objects in Lincolnshire and considering overseas aid, the Fabric of Lincoln Cathedral, the Hospice Movement, the Cheshire Homes and considering charities involved with nature conservation and animal welfare in Lincolnshire. A confidential voluntary service offering extra care to sufferers of life limiting illness and support to their carers.

Our club is a local branch of Lions Clubs International - the world's largest voluntary service organisation with 1.4 million members. We raise money locally to spend locally. We offer financial or practical help to individuals and groups - and also to certain local charities such as Hospice in the Weald.Our club area is roughly bounded by Five Oak Green, Yalding, Staplehurst and Horsmonden.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services.

Choral Society, we give 2 concerts a year in the local Church which are well-attended by local people. We give free tickets to accompanied under-16s. We have a retiring collection at the end of each concert for a particular charity chosen by the trustees, eg the local hospice.

St Albans & Dacorum Day Hospice is part of Rennie Grove Hospice Care providing 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home service as well as a range of day services for patients and families in Herts .

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

We are a Christian organisation who meet to worship, study the Bible, preach to those not of our faith, run a Sunday School and hold youth activities. Our funds are collected solely from our own members to enable the above plus assist in the welfare of our own members, maintain our building and support other Christadelphian organisations in their work. The taking of Children with mental disorders, terminally ill and special needs on outings to the seaside,countryside,plays,films,pantomines and supply transport needs.We also provide finance to any school, home, hospice or individual child for any object the local councils do not provide, for special wheelchair, hand bells, or audio and visual equipment.Also money to other charities.

We promote all aspects of the arts. We arrange lectures, study days and outings; pay fees and expenses of lecturers. We have set up online access to events. We hire premises for meetings and acquire equipment and software as needed. The Rotary Club of Wickford is part of the worldwide service organisation Rotary International. It supports all RI's projects. Locally it supports various voluntary organisations such as scouts, guides, local hospices and hospitals as well as schools. It also makes donations to deserving individuals.
