THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING INJURY OR ILLNESS BY THE PROVISION OF IMMEDIATE CARE IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL REGION OF CHESHIRE, MANCHESTER, MERSEYSIDE, LANCASHIRE AND ADJACENT AREAS AND TO ADVANCE THE STUDY OF IMMEDIATE MEDICAL CARE BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING.

Relieve patients and former patients of the Royal London Hospital (Whitechapel) who are sick, handicapped or infirm and generally to support the charitable work of the Hospital including related research

Projects funded by the M.L.G.S are ensuring patients attending Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton receive treatment for leukaemia and related blood disorders by the most up-to-date techniques whilst research is helping to combat these dreaded diseases on a worldwide basis.

The Charity collects donations for the free and, in some cases, subsidised treatment of poor patients at "Welfare Hospital Bharuch and Research Centre", for the promotion of health and for the advancement of education in the Bharuchi Sunni Muslim Vahora Patel Community in India.

Monthly meetings for education of trainees and consultant dermatologists in rare and challenging dermatological cases. Annual symposium based on a dermatological topic.

To relieve patients and former patients of Queen Mary's Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the said Hospital by providing various voluntary services and extra amenities for such Patients and Staff in the Hospital at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

The provision and maintenance of 12 cottages for "poor" women over the age of 55 without restriction as to religious affiliation or marital status.

Promotes the welfare of children and young people under the age of 25 who suffer from various effects of social deprivation, abuse, mental and physical handicap, inadequate housing, lack of education or training, and the problems derived from unemployment and lone parent families.

The charity provides housing for 9 poor people and one warden.

PROVIDES HELP AND SUPPORT FOR BABIES AND PARENTS IN THE SCBU AT WREXHAM MAELOR HOSPITAL WREXHAM

AIDS EDUCATION, BOOKS, SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS, HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT, AGRICULTURE PROJECTS, WELLS,SMALL BUSINESS INITIATIVES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.

The object of the charity is to provide a link between the hospital and the local community and provide better amenities for patients at the hospital and in the community, including better equipment and facilities.

The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

The Object of the Friends shall be to assist patients of the Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.To support the charitable work of the said Hospital and to provide funding for additional items of equipment or luxury that would not be provided by the local NHS trust.

TO RELIEVE PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS OF SOUTHMEAD HOSPITAL, WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, INFIRM OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF SOUTHMEAD HOSPITAL. WE PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER MEDICAL AIDS FOR THE HOSPITAL. WE RUN A COFFEE SHOP AND A TROLLY SERVICE IN THE OUTPATIENTS DEPT.

The Charity provides secure accommodation for elderly Ladies with local connections.

The Friends aim is to support and supplement the services offered by Island-wide NHS services, through the funding of new equipment and facilities designed to enhance the wellbeing of NHS patients and staff across the Isle of Wight. We are funded by the running of our shop, by charity boxes around the Island and by many generous donations or by being kindly remembered in a Will.

To raise funds and give support to four local hospitals - Kings Mill Hospital ,Mansfield Community Hospital, Blossomwood Mental Health Unit and Shireoaks Mental Health Unit

According to our contract with Birmingham City Council we assist older patients after their discharge home from hospitals and elsewhere. Four teams help discharged patients and one of these also works with Falls patients in Birmingham; research, discharge and aftercare; monitor our work e.g. the needs of patients and the help given; participate in the work of national and local organisations.

The company plays a monitoring role within a group of charities spread around the world, all operating under the Radio Lollipop banner. Countries represented are England, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and the USA. The charities have the common objective of providing care, comfort and entertainment to children in hospital through broadcasting and play activities.

We raise funds for the benefit of the Maesteg Community Hospital and its patients.

To apply the income, and at the discretion of the trustees, the capital to support Healthcare work in Ledbury and District by :a) The relief of patients who are sick,convalescent,disabled,handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistanceb)The relief of sickness in the locality by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by Healthcare workers

Provide accommodation through Almshouse

The charity provides funds to support the health & welfare of hospital patients. Funds are raised by voluntary contribution at work, special fundraising events & bequests. Requests are received from NHS staff for support.

Provides financial support for the Parish Church of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Mary Magdalene Newark for defined purposes.Provides financial support for facilities for the benefit of the patients in Newark Hospital for which provision is not made out of public funds.
