Residential and Nursing Care Daycare to the community

The charity helps to run a church offering regular Christian services of worship and teaching. We help run a residential school for poor children who would not otherwise be able to receive an education. We relieve sickness and preserve health, facilitating health care by professional Drs, therapists & nurses at hospitals in India. We relieve financial hardship by providing grants to the destitute.

The aims of the Fund are to provide financial assistance to any League member or past or present member of the nursing staff of The Royal London Hospital, of whatever age, in need.

To relieve in cases of need persons who are resident in,or who are patients of medical practitioners in the County Borough of Brighton and Hove who are sick,convalescent,disabled,handicapped or infirm.

Service users benefit from hot lunches, manicures, massages, opticians visits, health checks, advice and information on healthy living, keep-fit classes and support from a social worker and a nurse. The principal objective of the League is to help and benefit patients and medical staff at the West Berkshire Community Hospital. It seeks to meet its objective by funding the purchase of medical equipment for use within the West Berkshire Community Hospital and by Community Nursing. This equipment would not otherwise be available and the League selects equipment on the basis of merit and need

We are a Hedgehog rescue charity and we take in injured and sick hedgehogs, we aim to nurse the hedgehogs back to full health and then release back into the wild. If this is not possible then we have them put to sleep at the vets. We are run entirely by volunteers.
