The objects of the CIO are to relieve the needs of children in Greece from deprivedsocio-economic backgrounds, in particular the prevention or relief of poverty andthe promotion and protection of physical and mental health and education of suchchildren, by providing grants, items and services to charities, or other organisationsworking to relieve such needs.
