Remote ancient and restored Church with at latest late 11th century wall paintings. Services are held from from time to time. The church is open for visitors in the Summer (end March to end October) every day between 2pm and 4pm and in Winter (end October to end March) Saturdays and Sundays between 12 noon and 2pm. Visits at other times by prior arrangement.

The aim of the Odinist Fellowship shall be to practise, promote and propagate Odinism. The Northern Mine Research Society is dedicated to the preservation and recording of mining history. As such the society makes grants to individuals and organisations in furtherance of these aims, as well as sponsoring or undertaking research itself. The Hall is used for the benefit of the village. All village associations use the Hall, Youth Club, Scouts, Playtime, Bowls, Art, WI, Zumba, Pilates, Martial Arts, Theatrical Society, Gardening Association, History Society. Parish Council meetings are also held in the Hall, together with National Associations because of the Hall's geographical position.
