Support the Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry in the High House, Stafford so that it may be a tribute to the men of Staffordshire who served in the war and an interesting social history for today's public. The Charity relies on donations and gifts to meet its objectives

The Sea Cadet Corps provides youth activities for 9 to 17 year olds with a nautical theme, including the ethos and history of the Royal Navy

South West Maritime History Society was founded in 1984. Its aims are to encourage interest in all aspects of our maritime heritage and to promote research in these fields, leading where possible to the publication of the result of such studies. We hold a number of meetings each year throughout the South West Region, enabling our members and friends to visit many places of maritime interest.

Baldock Museum and Local History Society holds talks every two months on topics relating to the history of Baldock. Funds raised by the Society through its membership are used to support the running of Baldock Museum which features changing displays on aspects of the town's history. The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers.

(i) To help with the conservation, repair, and improvement of the Parish Church of St. Andrew and St. Cuthman in Steyning to include the monuments, furnishings and fittings, stained glass, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyard.(ii) To promote the education of the public in the history of the Church.

We hold various events such as Local History Exhibitions, May Day Celebrations, Open Gardens and a Neat Street Award. We work with residents of all ages and abilities to record the history of Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford, and compile history booklets, add blue plaques and heritage boards in the Eatons. We work to enhance our local facilities, including providing benches and planting bulbs.

To promote the advancement of the education of the public by the study of local history in the parishes of Barnes & Mortlake, by recording and where appropriate publishing the results of such study. To collect and preserve documents,pictures and other relics relating to Barnes & Mortlake. Also by organising meetings,exhibitions and visits to places of historical interest.

About 20 Interest groups (eg Art, Bridge, French, German, History etc...) which usually meet once or twice monthly. Also a general monthly branch meeting, with visiting speakers etc.

The objects of the society shall be the promotion of interest in all aspects of archaeology, history and related subjects, and research into the archaeological and historical heritage of Maidenhead and the surrounding area.

Southam Heritage Collection focuses on preserving the history of Southam and to a lesser extent the surrounding villages. Its objectives are basically to provide a focal point for collating records of Southam's past and making these records available to as wide an audience as possible for the benefit of all the residents of Southam. It provides exhibitions, a web site, talks and guided walks.

To promote & encourage in the Lytham St. Annes area by meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications & promotions of a charitable nature:-+? A careful watch on the town's development-+? Focus public attention on the importance of enlightened town planning & imaginative design-+? Stimulate interest in & consideration of the preservation of features of historical interest & beauty in the town.

Increase community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities to enable participation in lug-rigged sailing and by advancing education in the history and use of the Jumbo and the maritime heritage of St. Ives. We have carried out skill building in knotting, talks and film shows on historical fishing/sailing vessels and fisherman of St. Ives and run sailing sessions.

The principal objects of the charity are to promote,and advance for public benefit ,an ongoing record of the historical development of Ditton and the wider community through the provision of original Victorian classroom facilities in the previously derelict Victorian school building in Ditton,Kent

Poliphonia is an UK based charity with the purpose of promoting the classical music of the Americas. We promote concerts in the UK with repertoire from composers from the Americas, sponsor young players interested in learning this repertoire, restore music still in manuscript form to facilitate performance and produce recordings and film of performances and educational content.

To promote local history education in Derbyshire and publish edited texts, monographs and pamphlets relating to the history of the county.
