Communities First Foundation is a community Engagement, Support and Training agency. We primarily work with children and young people in sport and creative arts and with the wider community in regeneration, skills training, empowerment and advocacy issues. We also specialise in housing and the social housing environment.

To rescue, board and place stray and unwanted dogs in good homes. To continue to care for and protect dogs in need. In line with our non-destruct policy, we endeavour to save abandoned dogs from being put to sleep in the specified areas.

The object of the charity is the relief of serving and former evangelists, bible teachers and their current or former dependants including spouses, widows or widowers who are normally resident in the United Kingdom and require such assistance because they are in a condition of need, hardship or distress, or sick, convalescent, disabled or handicapped or elderly.

Rescue and re-homes abandoned dogs and puppies, provides veterinary care and kennelling.

Membership of Number Seven are low income households. Members are able to access affordable food at the supermarket in person or through home deliveries. The cafe provides tasty and nutritious food to local residents and at reduced prices to Members. Surplus produce is recycled through the cafe/supermarket. Training and employment opportunities are provided.

The provision and maintenance of housing accommodation for persons who are in need, hardship or distress and who are resident in the former borough of Saffron Walden in the County of Essex and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents.

Home-Start offers friendship and informal support to parents with young children, in local communities throughout the UK so that every child can have a good start in life. Home-Start Harwich supports local families by means of a family group as well as a home visiting service by volunteers.

COATS runs The COATS Centre in Crowthorne, Berkshire. It provides companionship, home cooked meals and stimulating activities for older people around the area and has a minibus to carry people from their own homes to the Centre. It is a continuation in CIO form of the original reg. charity The Crowthorne Old Age to Teen Society (COATS) no. 259897. All the assets have been transferred to the CIO.

Facilitating a network of accommodation in private houses for adult destitute asylum seekers and refugees.Managing a house where a number of adult destitute asylum seekers and refugees can be provided with accommodation. Supporting the Asylum Seekers Allotment Project.Providing short term hardship grants to destitute asylum seekers and refugees who have no other source of income.

The charity activities are the care and relief of suffering of dogs and cats by the provision and maintenance of rescue homes and facilities. The charity operates in England, primarily in the counties of Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire Nottinghamshire and Norfolk.

Provides Residential care and support people with learning disabilities

The Branch's activities are to run a local veterinary clinic scheme to help those who need financial assistance to seek veterinary treatment, to operate two charity shops to raise funds for the charities activities, to run a cat rescue centre jointly with other local RSPCA branches, to carry out home visits, to rescue and re-home animals and to promote the work of the branch to the local community

The Retreat takes in unwanted, neglected, abused and sick animals and provides vet care, facilities for their rehabilitation, food, and a safe haven. We aim, where possible, to rehome animals (subject to home checks). The Retreat has volunteers who carry out the day to day care of the animals and fundraising.

Grant making for the relief of the sick or suffering of North East Essex

The Inns Court Centre operates in Knowle West and the area is in the top 10% of the country in terms of social and economic deprivation. The centre has a community cafe, food store; similar to a food bank and a community bus and a soft play area for under 5's. It also hires out rooms to local user groups and also is the home of the local Children's Centre Hub run by the local authority.

Home-Start South Leicestershire offers support, friendship & practical help to parents with young children (at least one under 5) who are experiencing difficulties. We respond to families needs through a combination of home-visiting support from volunteers, group work and courses.

FREE REPRESENTATIONAL ADVOCACY SERVICE AT APPEAL TRIBUNALS & COUNTY COURT.. ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR RESIDENTS WHO ARE BOTH SOCIALLY & ECONOMICALLY EXCLUDED FROM THE LABOUR MARKET.

London Bubble increases access to theatre for people of all ages & backgrounds. Including: children with communication needs, at risk of youth violence, young people in the care & criminal justice systems, unemployed young adults & older adults living alone or in sheltered housing.We draw on lived experience & imagination, co-creating original theatre with our members & sharing it with audiences

Our main service uses music to benefit people with dementia and their carers. People can access Music Therapy @ Home, Together in Song singing groups in care homes (led by trained volunteers), Music Therapy in care homes and Sing 2 Remember groups in the community and Mindset. We also provide programmes for people with chronic lung disease and other health conditions through Social Prescribing.

Provides emergency food parcels and clothing to families and individuals in need. The food parcels and clothing are issued in exchange for vouchers obtained from local welfare organisations such as Winchester City Council Citizens Advice Bureau, social services, churches, night shelter, probation service and housing associations.

THE PROVISION, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME.

To relieve and assist women of good character who are over the age of 50 who are in need, in particular by the provision of social housing in the form of almshouse accommodation and facilities for such women on terms appropriate to their needs.
