NEDCare CIO (North East Dartmoor Care Charitable Incorporated Organisation) exists to support people who need care and support at home in North East Dartmoor. NEDCare provides domiciliary care services that are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. NEDCare covers the three GP surgery areas of Cheriton Bishop, Chagford and Moretonhampstead.

We provide very sheltered housing accomodation.

The Methodist Circuit is a group of 11 chapels, and each chapel elects usually two of their congregation to be trustees at the Circuit Meetings, where policies and financial commitments are decided, notably the appointment of Ministers, and ensuring that their stipends and housing are well maintained, and worship and charitable activities are beneficial to the local and wider communities

S.A.L.V.E. provides Street Outreach, Halfway Homes, counselling, Drug Rehab, care and medicine, Family Reunification and Educational Support for children who were living on the streets. We raise awareness of children living on Ugandan streets and their rights. We work to address the problems in local communities that drive children to the streets i.e. through Business Training and mentoring.

ACT's services improve the health and wellbeing of the Aylsham community by connecting people with each other and the support they need to live well.Services include day services and a community cafe at the ACT Centre, support in the home, lunch clubs and hot meal deliveries, social outings, counselling, 'community friend' support, and a volunteer car scheme.

The objective of the charity is to relieve the suffering and distress of animals in need by:establishing & maintaining rescue homes and other places for sick or ill treated animals, abandoned and unwanted pets; neutering and arranging treatment and if appropriate and on veterinary advice euthanasia; to ultimately arrange for adoption of the animals into caring new homes.

The Circuit produces a quarterly preaching planto ensure regular acts of worship take place in each of the 18 Methodist Churches and Local Ecumenical partnerships in its geographical area. These are open to all people without charge.The Circuit is directly involved in plans to provide a Town Center Chaplain service for Aylesbury and support to the new housing developments in the Aylesbury area.

According to our contract with Birmingham City Council we assist older patients after their discharge home from hospitals and elsewhere. Four teams help discharged patients and one of these also works with Falls patients in Birmingham; research, discharge and aftercare; monitor our work e.g. the needs of patients and the help given; participate in the work of national and local organisations.

Set up in 1998,Cancer Support Suffolk, helps people before, during and after cancer.Our dedicated team includes complementary therapists,counsellors, educators, ambassadors and business brains that come together to educate and support the people of Suffolk about cancer. We are inherently local.We believe in this little slice of the UK, it's home.That's why all money raised stays within the county.

Makes grants to individuals and organisations within the parish of Wendover, the Moor Park Estate and the houses to the right of Halton Lane from Moor Park up to Perch Bridge.

Hostage International provides practical and emotional support and specialist services to families during and after the kidnap of a loved one, and to hostages after they return home. Hostage International also offers education and training for organisations on family support and hostage reintegration, and advocates for improved government and organisational policy and practice on hostage issues.

Heathbank Support Services provides two services, a day centre for adults with learning disabilities and a domiciliary care agency which provides staff in service users own homes within the Oldham area. Heathbank Support Services prides itself on high levels of care being carried out within each service.

THE COMPANY OWNS AND MANAGES THE OLD FIRE STATION GIPTON WHICH IS HOME TO A NUMBER OF PRIMARILY THIRD SECTOR TENANTS INCLUDING CHARITIES AND SOCIAL ENTERPRISES. IN ADDITION, THERE IS A COMMUNITY CAFE OPEN FOR TENANTS, VISITORS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND A RANGE OF MEETING ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, CHARITIES AND BUSINESSES ON A GRADED HIRE RATE.

Provided telephone advice to members of the public and2nd tier advice agencies and guidance and support to first tier advice workers.? Carried out development, out-reach and training work.? Sought funding for youth centred services.

The activities include Sunday church services held at The Centre, Burnholme, York and a range of activities during the week held in homes, Cornerstone and other local venues, such as fellowship groups and young peoples activities. We run a local foodbank and offer support to our local community. We help individuals and organisations whose objectives align with our charitable aims.

A volunteer community organisation. We are regenerating Chopwell by creating employment & skills-learning opportunities, improving the environment, improving housing, improving health & well-being, improving education & training, facilitating intergenerational communication, increasing visitors, stimulating growth & improving the look & feel of our village. All activity is driven by consultation.

Home-visiting volunteers offer support, friendship and practical help to families with at least one child under 5 years of age. We also offer a cafe-type of informal group support.

Our Charity's purposes as set out in the objects contained in the Charity's Governing Document are:-(a) the provision of housing accommodation for beneficiaries and (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of residents as the Trustees decide. The object of the Charity is to administer and manage 56 dwellings at Stephenson Court, Peterborough in accordance with the above provisions.
