The Charity provides unfurnished dwellings for married couples and single persons aged over 55 who are fit and able to care for themselves, have lived for a significant period in the past 20 years within the area of benefit (London Borough of Barnet with preference given to the pre 1965 Urban Districts of East Barnet, Chipping/High Barnet and Friern Barnet) and can establish housing need.

Home-Start Arun, Worthing & Adur is a voluntary home-visiting scheme committed to offering friendship and promoting the welfare of families with young children, to alleviate stress and conflict in their home and help to prevent family breakdown. Volunteers are recruited and trained to enable them to support families in their own homes and at Family Groups.

Home-Start Chichester & District recruits, trains and monitors volunteers who offer support to families with young children by visiting them in their own home on a regular weekly basis.

The principal activity of the Charity is to raise funds, primarily through payroll giving, to help animals in need. The funds are given equally to the four member Charities. These are - Blue Cross, Mayhew Animal Home, SPANA and World Horse Welfare.

Sussex Nightstop Plus recruit, train and coordinate a body of volunteer hosts from the local community to provide emergency short-term accommodation for those aged 16 years and above who are at risk of rough-sleeping, with a current emphasis on the 16-25 age group. Working with trusted local referral agencies and partners we offer a safe place to stay whilst a safer longer-term home is found.

We provide housing accomodation for those over 60 years of age and in need in the area of St Albans in Hertfordshire

We rescue and rehabilitate Border Collies. Most of the dogs that come into us have psychological/behavioural issues. This is usually due to being in the wrong homes with the wrong owners to suit their needs. Once the dog has settled in, we then start the rehabilitation process ready for the dog to find its forever home.

The aim of the charity is the support of such charitable purposes which advance the religious and other charitable work carried on in the local community at Hook and in England and Wales generally and also overseas by the congregation via the Mother House in Malta . This work included the maintenance of a residential home for the elderly in Hook until August 2021.

Home-Start Medway offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children. We recruit and train volunteers, who are usually parents themselves, to home-visit families who have at least one child under five. Our volunteers offer parents informal, friendly and confidential support. Home-Start Medway supports parents in order to help give children the best possible start in life.

We provide emotional support and practical help to families with children under five in the districts of Horsham and Mid-Sussex and the borough of Crawley. Trained volunteers visit families each week to offer individualised support and we provide weekly support groups.

As a church we undertake: Communal worship, the ministering of God's Word and sacraments, and prayer in Sunday services and other prayer and Bible study in home group meetings; family, youth and adult engagement and support activities; pastoral care of the church fellowship and wider church family; and provision of a church cafe (Cafe 139 is run from the church's own premises).
