Housing Charities That specialise in Accommodation

In addition to our own Sunday activities we support our congregation with regular bible study, prayer groups and training activities. For children we have Sunday Club, a playgroup and support for a number of out of school activities. we strongly support our local schools, care homes and our community in many different ways. We host a winter night shelter for the homeless with other local churches.

Weekly sunday worship conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin and English; Sunday school for children. Preaching and sermons, organized evangelistic meetings. Home visits, house groups and fellowship groups; Bible studies and prayer meetings. Discipleship training. Donations to other charitable organisations and causes.

SHARE aims are to support people without a place that they could call home, either in the UK or abroad. SHARE cares for the basic needs (food, clothes, etc) of people who are homeless in Cheshire and Flintshire as well as refugees across refugee camps around the World.

The charity (as landlord) is responsible for providing the premises of the Armenian Church of St Sarkis, Iverna Gardens, Kensington and church hall to the St Sarkis Parish Council and the adjacent vicarage as residential accommodation.

The provision of Warden assisted housing for those in need, with priority to those living in the districts of Salisbury and Wilton. The Charity maintains 19 units of accommodation.

Emmanuel Church Northstowe is an evangelical church meeting in Northstowe and the surrounding villages. We currently run a weekly worship service on Sunday mornings, weekly small groups meeting in homes for Bible study, prayer and fellowship, mums groups, and two fortnightly youth groups.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Religious assemblies in schools. Provision of activites for senior citizens, parents and toddlers. Supporting other charities home and overseas.

Neighbourcare gives assistance to the community in variety of ways: Transport to doctors and hospitals; Shopping; cleaning; gardening; relieving carers; visiting the housebound; sitting service; Home from Hospital Help; Fetching prescriptions; Pop in Service; Filling forms; meals on wheels referrals; Lunch Club, Community Shop and a Silver Surfer Internet Cafe to teach IT skills to the over 50s.

We curently provide self contained housing for the elderly within the Blue House, we raise funds for the upkeep of the listed building, to ensure the best environment for our residents.

Education/Training. Relief of poverty.The main aim of the charity is to maintain the Happy House Project. It is a home for children, many of whom have been orphaned, neglected, beaten, abandoned and abused in many ways. The charity provides for these children kindergarten and primary education at Sue Hayward's Happy House School and secondary education at local high schools

The objects of the charity are to assist ZANE (charity no 1112949) in the provision of assistance to those destitute and trapped in Zimbabwe. It also supplies UK charitable support to the Borradaile Nursing Home Complex in Zimbabwe.It supplied charitable support to the Community Emergency Food bank (CEF) in Oxford until 23 September 2013, when CEF was established as a charity in its own right

To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Westwood and Ravensthorpe in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. By running cooking, gardening, boxing, chair yoga, basketball and various and educational fun days for all community groups.

St Paulinus Parchial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbant in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical, the provision of church services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, youth and children's work and teaching adults through home groups and confirmation.

Faith Welfare Trust promotes the welfare of disadvantaged and/or destitute children and young adults. It also supports disadvantaged children and young adults in their education and training. To do this it funds 2 children's homes (boys and girls) near Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and a school in Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) where free places and lunches are provided for needy children.

The policy of the Federation is to raise funds & organise courses, lectures & events to advance the education of women in citizenship, public affairs - both national & international in music, drama and other cultural subjects. We aim to improve and develop conditions in rural life, give instruction and training in all branches of home economics, handicrafts, health & social welfare & Agriculture.

Lewes House of Friendship exists to promote the wellbeing of older people, in any manner which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable, in and around Lewes. Care for the elderly in care homes, work in schools, help in English and Polish parishes giving support to the parish priests and the communities. We work with children, teenagers and anyone who requires our help and support. We also give spiritual and practical support to the migrant families who have just arrived in the United Kingdom and require help adapting to life in Great Britain.
