Provides grants to individuals and organisations. Operates across South West England with a focus on charities based in West Dorset although some nationwide charities may also apply. Charitable causes are literacy, homelessness, disadvantaged young people and Arts and Culture.

The SCT addresses social inequality and poverty. We create grants with agencies and projects that provide shelter and material assistance, improve social mobility, and fight prejudice. The SCT focus is on rights and welfare of: women, children / young adults, the mentally ill, ethnic communities and the homeless. It is also an aim to empower through encouraging access to education and the arts.

Our mission is to HELP people in the community of Chorley who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and to seek to PREVENT homelessness. To act as an ADVOCATE on their behalf to get the support they need. To be a CATALYST for change to improve their lives for the better. We provide food parcels, household items & clothes together with advice and advocacy on benefits and counselling support.

WE ARE A CHRISTIAN CHURCH WORKING IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR BASIS OF FAITH, DOCTRINAL DISTINCTIVES AND ETHICAL STATEMENTS, PRIMARILY WITHIN WILTSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. WE SEEK TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PUBLIC CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, PASTORAL CARE AND ACTIVITES FOR ALL AGES. WE ARE ACTIVE IN PROJECTS OF SOCIAL CONCERN INCLUDING THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SUPPORT FOR THE HOMELESS.

We are a charity, based in Brighton and Hove, devoted to helping rough sleepers and the homelessthrough the provision of support, advocacy, clothing and self-care items.

SFW is a social inclusion project currently run in Wales made up of people aged 16 and above facing social exclusion through homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health or cultural issues. All are facing daily barriers to be part involved in society and communities they live in, caused by the ever present stigma attached to their situations.

The prevention or relief of poverty among people who are homeless or in need of food provision support in London. By providing food, drink and other items and services to individuals in need and or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. Currently we provide food stalls 4 times a week and have a weekly foodbank for those in the community who need our assistance.

Saving Suffering Strays are dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of stray dogs in the U.K. Bosnia and across Europe. We support rescue work saving dogs from killing stations and from the hardship of life on the streets and provide a rescue and rehoming service for the reception, care and treatment of stray dogs rehoming them to families in the U.K. and across the world.

Hope for Food supplies clothing, boots, toiletries, hot food, soup, sandwiches, fruit & veg, tea and coffee to the homeless through community meals in Bournemouth. We also help struggling families with weekly food hampers, clothing and occasionally household items.

Our aims are firstly to support people who are struggling with life, particularly when this is due to homelessness, a premature bereavement or the challenges of adolescence and secondly to help develop the local community in Deptford and to protect and sustain the wider natural environment.

Support of the homeless and needy in Liverpool and it's environs, through the giving out of clothing and free breakfast and lunch on most days at our rescue centres. Annual evangelistic childrens camp.

We are a safe haven for rescued horses, ponies and other small animals who have been neglected, ill , homeless etc and need help & safetyWe provide a nature based safe space for all adults, children and animals to come together. We offer equine therapy, experiences & events to help support mental and emotional well being for all in the community. We provide educational & training opportunities

To relieve poverty particularly but not exclusively amongst homeless people in Blackpool and the surrounding areas

The Meeting Room runs daytime drop in centres for homeless, socially isolated, and vulnerable people in Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley. At the centres they are welcomed and offered a hot meal, advise, signposting and friendship. Volunteers build relationships which then enables us to offer support individually for clients. A lot of support is offered outside the centers as required by needs.

ACTIVITIES:.Christian Meditation, Sunday Breakfast for homeless and people in low income, Photo and Poster exhibitions and our monthly First Fridays social evenings of Christian films, Quiz nights, Music recitals and Games.

Our purpose is to nurture an emerging missional church among adults who are experiencing homelessness or are vulnerably housed in Southend. In partnership with God, each other and the wider family of God, we seek to express church through sharing the unchanging Gospel of Jesus in new ways, including our community cafe, Weekly church services and one to one support.

Working internationally to support the needy and vulnerable, sick, disabled, widowed and orphaned. We alleviate poverty and hardship, by improving access to essential life-critical services, personal development and self-empowerment. The principle activity is the management of accommodation and the delivery of support services to clients housed in that accommodation thereby preventing rough sleeping and alleviating homelessness. This will help to prevent fatalities and reduce health problems which would otherwise impact on acute and mental health services. The trustees have had regard to the public benefit guides PB1,2 and 3.

Weekly worship for all; pastoral care & visiting; prayer chain; helping the world's poor through Christian Aid; support for the homeless through the Floating Shelter; regular use of premises for community benefit. Some face to face activities have been limited owing to the Coronovirus Pandemic. It is not known whether the Floating Shelter will be able to resume in the future.

Providing shelter for the homeless

We run projects that support less priviledged children that are at risk of growing up to become poor adults and these activities can include those that will benefit the children's families. Other programs include project that provide support to the homeless.

Provides hot freshly cooked 3 course meals to homeless and vulnerable people at two weekly drop in sessions. The sessions cater for between 50 to 150 people. We also provide practical advice on where to find emergency accommodation and work with outreach and health services. We also run a gardening project that involves services users in growing the vegetables that contribute to the meals.

Our principal aim is to support the care and treatment of the single homeless.The reasons for their being homeless vary, but may include ill-health, those who are discharged offenders, drug and drink addicts or other adverse circumstances in their lives.We financially support hostels, drop-in centres and the like with grants.

As well as general charitable activities, the trustees support the following causes:to advance education, advancement in environmental protection or improvement, prevent and relieve poverty including assisting homeless and refugees. In addition, the advancement of amateur sport particularly helping young people in sailing.

Religious activities. Making building and open space available to local population. Running weekly parent and toddler group, and bi-weekly English language classes. Offering weekly 'Healing on the Streets' prayer ministry in Alperton. Holding celebration garba (traditional Gujarati dance) during festive periods. Hosting local school visits.
