To establish working relationships and partnerships with churches and Christian groups in the UK and internationally in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to call committed Christians at home and abroad to a life of prayer and intercession for the betterment of our planet. The practical outworking into the community is through health care (Caribbean), education and training.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

Founded in 1617 the charity provides affordable housing for residents of Knockholt, Kent.

Rent out Almshouses to poor people in the community

To provide advice and information on welfare benefits, immigration, housing, education, employment, training, debts, health, finance, nationality, businesspassport and other areas as necessary. Also to provide advocacy for clients.To organise community events such as Independence Day, Eid Celebrations, International Mother Tongue Celebrations.

Our aim is to help and support patients with cancer who live in the Frinton on Sea area. We try to arrange transport for hospital visits including treatment for chemo/radiotherapy.

Advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare; promotes sustainable development; advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

The trustees make decisions about charitable donations once the annual accounts have been prepared. The trustees only make donations to charitable organisations. All income for the charity derives from the investments of stocks and shares. There are no fund raising activities as such.

This charity provides a range of religious and voluntary support services to its members and the general public. Requests to the church are made by personal attendance, letters, telephone calls, word of mouth. We pray for the sick, visit them in their homes, pray for the distressed on the phone, perform marriages, funerals, dedicate infants, baptize adults, we welcome everyone to our church.

Provision and ongoing interest in 4 Almshouses and their occupants.

We look after the welfare of the occupants and the buildings of 4 almshouses at Roundbush Aldenham.

Provision and running of 5 Almshouses

Home school association - summer fete, discos, christmas fayre and lots other activities. The funds are then spent on items to improve the school life of the children, including new playground equipment etc.

To provide low cost housing for elderly persons of limited means who are qualified for appointment as almspeople according to the terms of the governing instrument.

Reading Cygnets is a swimming club for people with learning disabilities. Training sessions operate for 1 hour on Sundays for those who can already swim. We are not able to teach beginners at present. The Club provides opportunities for our swimmers to take part in competitive galas with other similar clubs and in Special Olympics events at home and abroad.

Provision of a single single storey ALMSHOUSE for retired bachelors/couples who have resided in the village , let at an equilavent fair rent.
