Housing Charities

The charity owns 2 almshouses in the village of Legbourne near Louth for pensioner couples with some connection with the village of Legbourne or Little Cawthorpe.

Promotes awareness through publicity and education on all matters relating to maintaining and improving residential property. Encourages the better use of homes by stimultaing activity by householders, the industry, local authories and Government departments.Complements the activities of The National Home Improvement Council

Providing a local broadcasting service for hospitals, old people's homes and similar institutions. The Association has studios in Warwick Hospital, Warwick.

Provides housing for elderly and those in need registered as living in the Parish of New Romney. Must be able to care for themselves.

We make grants to individuals in distress and in need and to organisations which operate within the boundaries of Horbury. Each request is individually assessed by the Trust.

Provision of financial assistance for residents of the parish of Sutton Cheney.

Supporting registered charities whose aims and objects conform with those of the Trust, including those which treat or research the causes of physical or mental illness, disease and disability, or provide care and welfare to those who suffer from them. Additionally, charities involved with the care and support of the homeless and foodbanks.

Provision of low cost housing under terms of trust deed.

BEN is established to promote full ethnic participation in the built and natural environment. BEN works to integrate social, cultural and environmental concerns in the context of sustainable development. We work across diverse sectors. Our current themes integrate the areas of natural environment, the built environment, heritage, social justice, health and housing.

Provision of housing to women of low income

The relief of farmers or agriculturists resident in the county of Kent who are in need, hardship or distress.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

We promote the educational enrichment and advancement of pupils at Tadcaster Primary Academy. Funds are raised through events such as school discos, Summer and Christmas Fairs, raffles and pop-up shops. Funds raised are used to purchase additional educational resources and equipment, furnish facilities and provide meaningful experiences and activities for pupils at the school.

Housing for the elderly

provides three Almshouses

Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).

Take Heart was established to help relieve sickness and protect health among persons suffering from heart disease and to promote the advancement of education in heart disease, its causes and implications. In particular it promotes the welfare and care of cardiac patients at home and in hospital and provides social and personal contact with people who share and understand a patient's needs.

Parent and toddler group for children aged 0 months to school age and their carers. Special baby area provided as well as activities for older children. Snacks and tea and coffee provided mid morning and included in entrance fee.Activities are wide ranging and include cutting, painting, colouring, puzzles, ball pool, home corner, dressing up, bikes, reading corner and many more.

A public museum for housing and exhibition of relics belonging to Dr Samuel Hahnemann, a public library for housing and reading of publications of Dr Samuel Hahanemann. All in aid of advancement of the teaching and practice of homeopathy and research in matters relating to homeopathy

The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in the school. The Association may:develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it; provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school

Supporting local Charities, examples Swindon Womens Refuge, Cancer Treatment Research at Salisbury, and Teddies in loving care in Wiltshire and many others

Provision for Residential Homes in Exmouth which provide for the elderly sick.

We provide healing to people throughout the country through churches, centres, groups and as individuals We also provide distant healing and home visits. We raise funds for the development of new centres and churches. We have fundraising events for other charities. We train probationer healers over a 2 year period to become full healers.

Aims are to collect money for purchasing and maintaining medical equipment for use in the local Health Centres and by the District nurses to help people in the home.
