Home-Start Essex recruits and trains volunteers to offer, in families own homes, friendship, support and practical help to parents experiencing difficulties. The families must have at least one child under the age of five. Volunteers are managed by the scheme which in turn is supported by Home-Start UK. Home-Start Essex operates in the county of Essex.

Providing supported housing to vulnerable adults

The Charity delivers a co-produced activities and arts programme, a volunteering programme and education, training, signposting, employment support, health support and access to external services through weekly clinics.
