The charity provides residential accomodation to suitably qualified Almspeople.

The Charity's objective is the provision of almshouses to almswomen in the Rotherham area. The trustees have considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and consider that its activities promote the welfare of aged and needy people and therefore meet the public benefit requirements.

The vesting of the land and buildings known as Frant School and the School House property and the maintenance of its status as a school and the management of School House, is still in the process of change with the sale of School House & the cessation of the school. The changes will be presented to the Charity Commission in due course to assess their accordance with the Charity Commission Scheme.

HOUSING FOR ELDERLY

Provision of housing accomodation

The charity provides housing and facilities for up to 12 elderly ladies in 12 flats at 58-80 Mill Road, Deal. They pay the Trust towards the costs of repairs and maintenance and towards the heating costs. The charity's outgoings include heating (gas), repairs and maintenance, insurance, water rate and any necessary refurbishment costs when a flat is vacated.

Provides almshouses for six needy persons over the age of 60 years and resident within the ecclestastical boundaries of the parish of Walmer.

The objective of the Charity is to provide affordable housing

To advance the Christian religion in the UK and worldwide and humanitarian work and relief (homelessness, disability, famine relief, education and training, and advancement of health) primarily in overseas countries .

HOUSING FOR ELDERLY LOCAL RESIDENTS.

Provision of affordable housing for elderly and in need people with a connection to the village who are unable to house themselves. Six Almshouses each containing a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom/toilet.

Social housing for less well off local elderly people.

Provision of affordable housing to people of lesser means from the local area.

Grants available for the relief of poverty within the parish of Norton, Northamptonshire.Grants available for specific personal needs within the parish, e.g.,unexpected funeral, item needed for an educational/vocational course, costs of long-term hospital visiting, help with care home fees, etc.

Charitable housing provider for local afforable housing within the parish of Sutcombe

Repair and maintenance of 4 Almshouses in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, which are occupied under licence by people in need and/or on a low income, and as and when necessary finding suitable occupiers.

Maintaining three almshouses

The main purpose is to enable women to improve and develop their education, including the arts,crafts and sciences, advance their education in citizenship and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve and develop conditions of rural life.

Provide housing for 6 poor or elderly families in Worminghall village, Buckinghamshire.

The charity provides affordable housing for elderly and disabled residents (or relatives of residents) of the village of Cassington.

Small residential almshouse for (as per the Founder's Will) "gentlepeople of limited means". 4 apartments either for single or dual occupation.
