The provision of social housing for rent

The charity was set up specifically to help people of limited means who live in East Markham, by making grants to individuals and by providing accommodation. This consists of three one-bedroomed bungalows suitable for older people, and a two bedroomed house, suitable as a starter home for a young family.

A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN AGRICULTURE, HOME CRAFTS, COUNTRY LIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS. AND B) IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE.

SEKPA is a Registered Charity formed in 1980 to help Kidney Patients in East and West Sussex, from Littlehampton to Rye on the South Coast, to Horsham and East Grinstead inland.Patients are treated at the Sussex Kidney Unit, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton and at its satellite Dialysis Units at Bexhill, Eastbourne, Worthing and Crawley. Some patients can also carry out treatment at home.

Provision of Almshouse accommodation (in Kidlington) for qualifying residents of the parishes of Kidlington and St Aldates, Oxford. Until recently, 6 residents could be accommodated in bedsit accommodation. The accommodation has now been converted to 3 larger units.There is no warden service, and residents need to be reasonably self-sufficient. The Almshouse is a listed building.

The aims of the Charity are to relieve poverty by the provision of social housing in the form of almshouse accommodation for the beneficiaries and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide. The Charity owns three almshouses in the parish of Longford, Ashbourne which provide accommodation for local residents. The properties are currently fully occupied.

The charity engages in religious activities, worship and preaching. We provide for the welfare of our members, providing assistance and grants for those in need, including homes for the elderly. Also we support financially local hospices and worldwide charities, especially in the event of an international emergency.

The Charity was established by the Will of William Carr dated 25 August 1905 for the provision of a block of four houses as alsmshouses administered by the Trustees.

Providing Almshouse accomodation in four units for those in need, hardship or distress for the parishes of Hilborough, Ickburgh, Stanford, Lynford and Mundford, in Norfolk.

The provision of economical housing for rent in the form of 3No. bungalows with gardens and car parking spaces. Retired applicants need to reside in the Billericay District or have relatives who live in this area. The Charity pays for most of the utilities and garden upkeep.

Makes grants for sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm to persons in need living in Warwick district or Southam rural area, by paying for items, services or facilities not available from others, including holidays, cooker, carpet, white goods, home aids etc or a contribution. Applications in a special form must be supported by an authorised agency ie Social Services, Health Authority

The Association is principally engaged in the promotion of the Christian religion, and as trustee of funds held on behalf of Congregational and United Reformed Churches, in Yorkshire.

All Saints Almshouses was established as a Charitable Trust to provide safe and affordable accommodation for single women living alone and in need, in accordance with the intentions set out in the Last Will and Testament of the Late Cecilia Elizabeth Talbot-Palmer (1928).
