Provision of housingsingle females aged 45 or over on a low income

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN AGRICULTURE, HOME CRAFTS, COUNTRYLIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS.

Provides support to local groups and manages the use of recreation ground and childrens play areas. Provides sports pavilion and hall for village use. Susidises village paper to all homes within the village

Still working hard to maintain the Village Hall, which is now 29 years old. We have replaced heating, doors, flooring and the kitchen in the hall. The car park has been refurbished, and we opened our new playground summer 2013. We have refurbished toilets, installed new internal dividing doors, renewed fences,created a community library. A local football club uses the centre as their home base.

To foster the historical and cultural links between Portugal and the United Kingdom through talks, lectures, visits, dinners and other social functions in honour of the Treaty of Windsor 1386 between Portugal and England, the world's oldest treaty of alliance. In addition the Society provides financial assistance to childrens' homes and charities in Portugal on a charitable basis.

To provide accommodation for almspeople being decendants of George and Jane Watkinson or persons who have resided for not less than three years in the ecclesiastical parishes of St Matthew Lightcliffe, St Matthew Northowram and St John Coley,

Provide accommodation for people over 50 years of age with connections with Aynho or St Aldates, Oxford or surrounding areas as a Charity

Income from land and investments held by the Charity Trustees. Income is also received by way of Weekly maintenance contributions from the persons occupying the Almshouses.

HOUSING

The Paddon Memorial Charities is an Almshouse charity and registered charitable trust with 3 properties in Fareham and Cosham. Portsmouth Rotary Housing Association is the corporate trustee of the trust.

~Our aim is to provide additional funds for the benefit of the children who attend Tranmere Park Primary School~Funds are raised through a number of social events ranging from summer and Christmas fairs to sponsored events~Our main ethos is to bring together parents and children and create a warm and friendly environment for both families and the wider community

The Principal activities of the organisation are to establish in Bangladesh and elsewhere:-homes for the orphans, handicapped, disadvantaged and poor children; to provide educational facilities and vocational training; to provide financial assistance for families in distress and to relieve poor children by providing sponsorship by individuls or institutions.

Two principal activities, divided into separate sections. The first is the provsion of an almshouse for single women, the second a relief in need charity within the Tetbury area

·12000 received from various grant to fit a "stair lift". The stair lift was fitted in February 2008.

Christian services for the local community in Chaddesden and Derby. In addition to regular Sunday church services: Weekly prayer / bible study; Weekly children's club; Monthly adults 'social' and service at old local old peoples home.Fund raising activities for local charities. Fund raising for other UK / worldwide charities and other christian organisations.

Management of 3 almshousesProvide assistance to residents of the village of Ickleton who are in need.

Accommodation for elderly and ex employees

Founded in 1880. In Behala, India it funds: an orphanage for 135+ boys between the ages of 4 & 15, educated & taught music; old peoples home; ENT/eye clinics.It funds in Bangladesh: Barisal - high & primary schools, boys & girls hostels, girls orphanage & a medical centre; Jobarpar - an indigenous sisterhood (CSS), oversees girls hostel & a play centre & helps in the diocesan primary school.

Fundraising for Helmsley Commmunity Primary School

The charity invests funds with a view to paying income and, in exceptional circumstances, a part of capital to such charities as the trustees in their absolute discretion see fit. For the foreseeable future, when making grants, the trustees will give priority to charities supporting young people and the homeless, with special emphasis on those based in Islington.

The objects of the trust deed are to make grants for general charitable purposes at the discretion of the trustees. In practice, a policy reflecting the interests of the settlers has been implemented, whereby grants are made under the following headings, health, homelessness, Quaker causes/institutions, support groups and third world. The trust does not accept unsolicited applications.

The objects of the charity are to assist in the advancement of the education of the pupis of the school by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advancement of the pupils, and developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.
