IT WAS A NON-POLITICAL AND NON-PROFIT MAKING ORGANISATION WITH NO ENDOWMENT, THE MAIN OBJECT WAS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT CULTURES. THE PRESENT CULTURAL EXCHANGE WAS NEWLY FORMED IN 1987 AND IS A COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE WITH CHARITABLE STATUS.
