DEVELOPMENT AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The village hall is available to the local community for a variety of activities e.g. Post Office, Polling Station; coffee mornings; Keep fit classes; Art group; Community meetings; Craft Group; other Clubs; social events; fund raising events including 'themed' evenings, and entertainment evenings. The hall is also available for private hire.

Organise volunteer car drivers to drive residents of Woodcote and surrounding villages without access to their own car, public transport, or any other form of transport to appointments, shops or other venues. Collect prescriptions for these residents who cannot otherwise do so. Organise social/recreational or other activities for this same group with the aim of reducing social or digital isolation

Managed by a group of volunteers, St Martin Parish Hall is maintained for use by members of the public on a self-sufficient basis. Regular hirers include: Church meetings/fund raising events, polling station, private childrens parties. Unsuitable for indoor sports or concerts.
