THE OBJECTIVES OF SWRC ARE TO SUPPORT DESTITUTE PEOPLE IN DISTRESS OR ILL HEALTH TO GAIN ACCESS TO SERVICES, AS WELL PROVIDING WELFARE SUPPORT FOR THE SAME. THE ORGANISATION ALSO PROVIDES COMMUNITY, EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES WHICH ENABLE REFUGEE AND OTHER MIGRANT COMMUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LIFE OF THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY AS RESIDENTS AND ACTIVE CITIZENS IN THE UK.

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO MAINTAIN, ENHANCE AND CARE FOR THE ASSETS AND FACILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND TO PLAN, ORGANISE AND PROMOTE FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THIS AIM, AND TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL INTERACTION AND COHESION OF THE COMMUNITY

Sporting, Recreational & Social Activities for the Blind & Visually Impaired.

WE MEET EVERY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. WHEN WE ALL PLAY BINGO.HAVE QUIZZES AND GENERALLY CONVERSEAND CATCH UP WITH FRIENDS, WE ALSOTRY TO HAVE AT LEAST 3/4 DAY TRIPS PER YEAR AND WHEN POSSIBLE TWO MORE WITH MEALS IE XMAS AND IN THE SPRING, ALSO WE HAVE AN XMAS PARTY WITH ENTERTAINMENT AT BOTH THE XMAS FESTIVITIES.

The provision & maintenance of Sparham Old School Room (ie. The Village Hall) for the use of the inhabitants of the parish & others incl. use for meetings, lectures/classes & other forms of recreation & other leisure time activities with the objective of improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of the parish & others.

Monthly lunches for the over 60s of Elvington. Afternoon Tea once a year with lunch. Christmas party with entertainment. Outings to places of interest by coach. Shopping visits by coach.

Maintenance of Playing Fields gifted to the Village and, as affordable, development of facilities for benefit of the local community.

MAINTAIN LOCAL RECREATION GROUND IN TRUST FOR RESIDENTS OF AREA

Furtherance of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit - post code LN11.

The main objectives of the charity are to encourage recreation and sport for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tenbury District and to relieve hardship in cases of adults, young persons and children residing in the Tenbury District.

Provision of facilities for play, sport and recreation for the village of Ullesthorpe

The provision and maintenance of Clayworth village Hall and recreation area for the use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including:a) meetings, lectures and classesb) other forms of recreation and leisure-time activitiesWith the objective of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants

The Playingfield is an public grass area maintained for the use of general public and village sports club. General public use it for various activities, but mainly sports and dog walkers. Playing field has a pavilion. The appointed committee runs the sports clubs voluntarily which also has youth and adult teams playing recreational sport all year round.

General Charitable purposes, amateur sport, provides buildings, facilities, open spaces for the general public

Receation ground, pavilion and tennis courts for sports activities and social events.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR THE AGED, DISABLED AND POOR RESIDENTS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH COURT, AND IN PARTICULAR, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE CARE, RECREATION, AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR LIFE.

Recreation ground

Tenants rent strip of land to grow their own produce. Funds raised from rents are used for expenses and for the good of the village.

The Club meets once a month to provide social and recreational facilities for the hearing impaired and to keep them informed on services and resources available in an atmosphere sympathetic to the hard-of-hearing. We have talks, slide shows, outings, craft sessions etc. and, where appropriate, we hire a speech interpretation service where a computer operator types what is being said onto a screen

The Trust was created for the relief of the aged, impotent and poor inhabitants of the Parish of Lytchett Minster and Upton, to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants by grant aiding facilities for recreation, leisure-time occupation and educational facilities.
