The provision of public spaces for healthful recreation

The charity provides for religious, moral, social and intellectual welfare and rational recreation and amusement of the inhabitants and visitors to the Parish of Orpington, and to their friends.

Lettings to various organisations and hall and room hires for community and entertainment events and private functions

Ryhope Community Association aims to work with members of the local community to identify need, subsequently plans and delivers a broad range of social, leisure and educational opportunities that address the identified needs and promote community cohesion thereby enhancing the quality of life for local residents.

To maintain and manage a Community Centre (Ystradowen Village Hall). To provide facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure-time occupation, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ystradowen.

Manage a city farm on the outskirts of Birkenhead, Wirral for public recreation and education. With a small collection of farm animals, cafe, nature trail, special events and gift shop the farm also provides opportunities for volunteers to be involved from maual tasks to fundraising.

Entertainment provided to local persons

Welfare Club hosting community activities such as Bingo, Bowling, U3A. A wide range of Community groups use our facilities such as Special Guardians, JIGSAW, British Heart Foundation and we hire function rooms out for Keep Fit, Parties, Meetings etc. We have a Rugby Section, Bowling Section, Darts & Doms and an Entertainment section for our members.

The objects of the charity are to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation of people with disabilities in Coventry and the surrounding district with the object of improving their quality of life.

To establish and maintain a youth and leisure centre for the benefit of inhabitants of Drayton and the surrounding area, advancement of education and the provision of facilities for social welfare recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of said inhabitants.

The charity provides and maintains facilities for the recreation and leisure-time for the benefit of the inhabitants of Gedling and Maperley Plains. The charity continues to operate an Occupational Licence to the Mapperley Plains Recreation and Social Club Ltd. for the provision of a Members Social Club.
