Organise events and band concerts in Ropner Park. Provide healthy home baked food and snacks in the cafe. Encourage recreational use of the park by individuals, families and groups. REMAP IS A NATIONAL CHARITY WORKING THROUGH GROUPS OF SKILLED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. IT DOES THIS BY DESIGNING AND MAKING EQUIPMENT FOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. THIS HELPS THEM CARRY OUT DAILY TASKS, OR TAKE PART IN LEISURE OCCUPATIONS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM. EVERYTHING IS GIVEN FREE TO THE PERSON IT HELPS.

The charity provides sporting and recreational facilities to the local community. These facilities consist of two football grounds, cricket ground, four tennis courts, MUGA - multi use games area with flood lights, two squash courts and a two badminton court size sports hall. The complex also has a lounge bar and fitness suite.
