Lawrence Weston Community Farm is a community-managed project that aims to improve the quality of life for local people and its service users by working with local people and others to provide a range of innovative, exciting, educational, environmental and recreational activities in Lawrence Weston.

The Queenborough Fishery Trust is a registered charity dedicated to helping poor, sick or disabled people who live in the Swale area, with particular reference to Queenborough, and also to helping provide local recreational, leisure-time and educational facilities. The charity?s trustees are also allowed to make grants for other charitable purposes as they see fit.

Berkshire County Sports Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of facilities for a range of sports. These include football and rugby pitches, cricket, tennis and squash courts, and an all-weather hockey/football pitch. All are available for use by members of the Club, as well as other sports clubs, schools, community organisations and the general public.

Advancement of public education in ecology and natural history and the conservation, protection and restoration for public benefit of natural resources, natural beauty, animal and plant life and land of ecological or scientific importance throughout the Isle of Thanet. Provide for the benefit of the public facilities of a charitable nature for outdoor recreation in the Isle of Thanet.

The aim of the Association is to establish or secure a community centre and promote the benefit of the residents of Sherfield Park and the Neighbourhood in a common effort to advance education, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the underlying object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents and neighbourhood.

We promote community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of amateur boxing; Through boxing activities, for all ages, abilities and for the wider community, we hope to have a positive impact on individuals mental well-being, physical well-being and on lifestyle choices.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for athletes

Education, training and workshops, seminars, social events, recreation and cultural activities. Advice surgeries on welfare rights, housing and health care, literacy, basic ESOL and Computer Skills, supplementary school for children and young people, and elderly people; employment, interpreting, ethnic and cultural events, drop-in centre and after school club.

The charity provides a range of leisure and learning activities which the whole community can benefit from within our centre as well as youth clubs across MK, meal clubs, coffee mornings; Sports sessions and open access to the outdoor multi-sports play area; Martial Arts, Zumba, Boxing; Life skills training; meetings of religious and cultural groups. A venue for private parties and events.

To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, health, education and social inclusion or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement poverty or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.

In accordance with the Constitution, the principal activity of the charity is to promote the welfare, education, social and recreational needs of inhabitants within the City of Derby who are elderly or in poor mental health. The activities provide culturally sensitive services at the day centre on Burton Road and the main client group are members from the African and Caribbean communities.

LAND TO BE USED AS AN OPEN SPACE BY INHABITANTS AND VISITORS TO LOWESTOFT. REASONABLE FACILITIES SHALL BE GIVEN FOR GENERAL SPORTS AND RECREATION INCLUDING WATERSPORTS.

Open 79 hours per week over 7 days, providing a welcoming place for 450 individuals, groups and local residents of all ages to access a wide range of recreational and leisure activities, projects and supportive interventions each week. We make a practical and positive difference by addressing the root causes of multiple deprivation and work towards overcoming social exclusion.

The object of the CIO is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provisionof facilities for the playing of football and cricket.
